Michelle Obama made a remarkable claim when talking up her husband, President Barack Obama, at a campaign event earlier today in Nashville, Tennessee.
The crowd of nearly 450 folks applauded as the first lady likened her husband to a Jesus-like figure.
In the book of Matthew, we read, "the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up." (Matthew 4:16) The phrase is used to describe the words Jesus preached.
In Micah, light, however, is a reference to God's words. "Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me," it says in Micah 7:8.
Either way, in religious terms, light is used to denote the true path, presented either by God or a savior. Or by Barack Obama.

POWERSHAKER 2012/04/18 06:15:44No+12A great light!? You've got to be kidding me!? Michelle Obama is deluded! Obama has done even more damage than any President before him. Look at the economic ruin and devastation he is causing! The Messianic theme went out the window a long time ago. Barack Obama is no messiah. He's a charlatan.

I agree with her. Ever since PresBarry imposed that new TAX on tanning beds, it absolutely puts a crimp on being dark... Except, of course, for Michelle Obama!
I'll stick with my enlightenment over the Obamas' twisted, insane, communist darkness.
and then there is the poll from the Washington Post/ABC News, as reported by the LA Times, which had these things to say about Obama:
http://articles.latimes.com/2...
"A new Washington Post/ABC News poll puts Obama’s approval rating at 50%, with the highest number of those who said they are strong supporters, 30%, since January 2011. Disapproval remains high at 45%, driven by the 35% of Americans who strongly opposed the president. But it’s still a four-point increase in support and a five-point drop in detractors from March’s poll numbers.
When the economy comes into play, though, the Obama edge evaporates. The number of Americans who strongly disapprove of his handling of the economy, 42%, nearly outnumbers those with any degree of support for him, 44%.
Though only 21% of Americans place the blame primarily on Obama for the recent rise in oil and gas prices, with more voters blaming other oil-produc...

Though only 21% of Americans place the blame primarily on Obama for the recent rise in oil and gas prices, with more voters blaming other oil-producing countries or domestic oil companies, 62% still disapprove of Obama’s handling of rising gas prices.
The lack of fault placed on Obama, particularly in comparison to the blame directed at President George W. Bush during price spikes in 2004 and 2005, can be chalked up to the perception of other parties involved, but the percentage of Americans who see gas prices as a major burden also has dropped. During last year’s gas price increases, 71% saw it as a hardship. Currently, that number is down to 62%.
More troubling for Obama is that 76% of those polled still believe the U.S. is in a recession. And though the numbers have slowly moved in Obama’s favor over the last six months, 64% still think the country is headed in the wrong direction.
Given those findings, it’s not surprising that 46% see Obama’s handling of the economy as a major reason to oppose his reelection – with only 32% highlighting it as a major reason to support him."

We will vote for our president Obama because he cares about common people, Education, healthcare, housing, our environment, jobs, and more like our future as a nation.
And when she speaks ...I just want to hurl ....
I'm not a fan of hers by any means.
But she is smarter than he is.
