DO WE NOT HAVE TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION?

We have a congress more interested in making a president happy then in doing the will of the people. THAT amounts to taxation without representation.

The Gov should not be able to force tyranny upon its people

I think if they can make up laws as they choose to suit their wishes, we have the obligation to not follow them at any cost.

This is correct. Taxation without Representation. This is what we fought against in the very beganing...this is what partly started our independance away from Britain England area. In the early years a group of young men got together and started having meetings and started to throw the tea into the harbor..though i am not sure of the exact details...We are not special interests we are not anyone to be taken lightly We are The People. President Obama you said you would listen to us..You lied. You said to your supporters you would do everything in your power to help them acheive their dreams..you turned this country into a nightmare..You learned nothing from history...keep in mind there is only one Barak Obama and many of us.
Democrats in Congress-you have a choice you can support your people who put you there in the first place...or you can kiss your vote goodbye...for the next congessional session. This even means you Patty Murray and company. Taxation without Representation is not something you even want to dare to do to My country. This would a real stupid move on your all parts.

Maybe he meant the larger percentage of the deadbeat sheeple that supported him, and the special interests that OWN him.

The american people were called "special interests" by our president. The congress ignored us and insulted us at every turn. A bill was passed this weekend that at least 55% of us (still a majority unless I am mistaken) DID NOT WANT. And the question was are we without representation? YES!! But that will change come NOV!!

We must develop a stronger backbone when it comes to stopping the Obama Administration’s radical agenda.

Time to figh back our complacency is what has us in this pickle now. Come november Arlen Specter better be ready for his marching papers.

We do need to set a precedent now.. otherwise these progressives will be shoving crap like this down our throats in the future.. we need to draw the line in the sand now..

I believe that what Obama has done should an impeachable offense. I see him as a traitor. To use his words against him...he has the audacity to think that he has the right to ride roughshod over the whole country. He was elected by the people and the people no longer want him as president. He has now made us the laughing stock of the world. Is this really the person that we want in control?
If this health care bill had been put on the ballot for the whole country to vote on how many of you believe that it would have passed? No doubt in my mind it wouldn't have.
Oh and thank you Mr. I must be KING! My husband and I are now waiting to see if he will become a part time worker or a laid off worker for the company he has worked 40 years for. They told him in Dec. that if the bill passed they would not be able to afford any new premium increases and not only no raise, but the chance that jobs would be cut. So I really appreciate what you have done for my family and I!!!!!

i asked this very question and yes this is our reps not listening to us . so yes it is grounds to call this government tyrannus . and overthrow it .

I called my rep today, told his office that I love him and think he has done alot for my city but that I will not be able to vote for him because the democrats do not listen to the people. Also told him that I blame the democrats for Obama because they stole the primaries by giving him all the undecided votes from Michigan.

How did these politicians get to Washington?Did not we the people send them there??!!

The individual purporting to be a nun and I have met many times on many polls. I had her blocked for a time, but then I realized that no nun of God would ever agree to abortion... so she had to be a phony. Personally, I have referred to her in many ways... the last time as a transvestite I think. She does love to come on polls and pretend, but we all know her for who she is.... Now for your question. Of course it is taxation without representation. I think it is time we look at every tax we discover we pay and band together and try to do something about it.

These so called representatives that voted against the people should be be treated as traitors. What they did to this great country will come back to slap them in the face 100 times over. Their careers are doomed as well as their after lives.

good job, my rep did not vote for it, but 10 democrats from Texas voted yes and one democrat voted no. I will be checking the districts they are in and will do what I can to get them voted out in November.
