Those saying such stuff are either lazy tools who want other people to teach their children values (that's not what school is for, that's what parents are for) or spin doctors working for the machine. .
God has never been taken out of the schools, regardless of what certain christians want you to think. Anybody can pray to any god they wish at any time they wish. They just can't make everybody else do it too.
No, religion has no place in schools outside of a course taught by unbiased objective people teaching a course that cross compares religions both past a present giving reasons that support them and don't, as well as possible origins of those faiths from previous faiths.
And with all that, let the kids decide what is and isn't worth believing in.
If you haven't noticed, God is not intervening on our insanity. (S)he is allowing us to fix it for ourselves. He appears to be merely observing, so we'd better get our s**t together, fast!
Need more options there sleepy
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. John Adams
Not to call people idiots or anything, but Christianity is NOT the only source of goodness in this world. If you need to have a God hanging over your head in order to do the right thing, then you must not have a conscience.
God should never be in science class, nor should any child ever be forced to submit to religious indoctrination, however.
And with all that, let the kids decide what is and isn't worth believing in.
