I suspect that Latinos vote for Obama because they think he's going to give them their real dream: a Federación de Aztlán, to include "Alta California." And "Tejas." And "Nuevo Mejico." And all the rest of the American Southwest. And Florida.

Only they don't realize that he wants to undermine the family. And family is important to them.

Not all hispanics are Catholics and some that are, are not conservative Catholics.Meaning:they go on the holidays.Let's not forget that some Hispanics are athiest or Agnostic.There are many hispanics that are Republicans also ,such as: Cuban(Marco Rubio)Puerto Rican(Luis Fortuño)Mexican(Tony Garza)

He was on Telemundo(or Univision) yesterday and was asked about not doing anything immigration reform. He responded that the Republicans stopped his efforts. They SHOULD have asked him what his proposal was, and why he could not get it passed without any Republican support, even though that is exactly how he got his healthcare passed. I guess if he were an honest man he would have admitted that he didn't need one single Republican to support or vote for his bill. But, he is not honest, and nobody bothered to point the truth out to him.

All 15-30 year old illegals get a free pass to stay here, The Dream Act he called it as he signed an exec order to VIOLATE the law of the land, ignoring the FACT that Congress had repeatedly refused to consider an amnesty of any sort for the criminal illegals.

But these are social issues, you may view these as wrong, but that's your personal opinion. Other peoples are different.
I believe that Gay marriage is fine, as is abortion.
As for forcing the catholic church to pay for abortions, that I wasn't aware of, but highly doubt it's that simple.
Some hispanics mey conform with your expectations of them, but many may be.... Well I'd call them tolerant, and sensible, you're probably say liberal or progressive.
(By that i mean tolerant of homosexuality, it happens get over it, sensible because they understand that sometimes abortion is preferable, and it's about the mother too, not just the baby.)

Many do have concerns, but it is not the thing MOST have as their primary concern. They don't want to see people treated badly but they also have a lot of resentment for illegals who feel entitled to what they worked very hard to obtain legally.
