Sluts are sluts because they *choose* to sleep with a lot of men. That *never* gives a man the right to force her to do it. Ever.

I don't think "Well she's slept with a lot of other men, so I figured she might as well sleep with me too." will hold up very well in court.

I actually think that some do ask for it. It's comes with the territory, if you dress the part and act the part. And those are the ones that don't realize the predicament they are putting themselves in. I'm sorry to hear that you were raped, and to me it seems very obvious that you were not asking for it, but unfortunately received the rape by some idiot who thought he could get by and possibly not do anytime, by doing the wrong thing to an unwilling person. Re-read my post , I said if a person dresses and acts the part 24/7, there is always a big chance of endangering yourself. Those are the ones who do not realize that they could be putting themselves in danger by putting themselves in the spotlight. You are right you can not rape a willing soul. If a woman ( and even a man ) put themselves out there, and want it, then it is a 2 way street. I still hope for you the full recovery, especially for your memory of what happened that awful day. I was attacked in front of many people at a local store, was hospitalized for my wounds and broken finger on my left hand, so I know it can be hard to forget, but I will never honestly know, on what it's like to be raped. What makes someone a slut? The way they dress? or the the way they act? What would be appropriate conduct? What would be conduct deserving of rape? I have very young daughters and It scares me that even 10% of your audience responded that some 'asked' to be raped.

I think revealing clothes look very pleasant on women, I don't dress like that but if I did it would be because I liked that sort of clothing. Clothing can be a way to express one's taste in aesthetics. I don't even have sex, I'm asexual, and I can appreciate the beauty of the female body.

Well, rape is not a form of sex. its an assault meant to degrade the woman. I have to agree with the top opinion, and the placard she is holding says it all. Only a Liberal would condone Rape, and make excuses. Just the same way they condone, wife beating, child neglect, beating, or incest. Just the same way they condone, a murder, kidnapping, bank robbery, same sex marriage, and abortion. Its always some other reason, person, or idea that caused the problem. I was sexually abused, whipped and mistreated as a child. the biggest problem with those that cry rape is working out which ones were raped and which ones are crying wolf. I know a few who have lied about being raped to get back at someone...then there are the ones who say yes and at the last moment change their minds and go na, dont want to now.. when the guy doesnt stop, she says she was raped.?????

Rape is a forceful violation of one person by another. The term is not limited to people, but also can be used to describe politics and countries.

Sluts have the right to say no and choose their partners just like anyone else.

Just because promiscuous people like to have a lot of sex doesn't mean they want have it with just anyone, and temptation, whether by reputation or manner of dress and behavior, does NOT give the right to violate a person and/or a law.

If temptation qualified as an acceptable excuse to commit a crime, shoplifting items that have been heavily or slickly advertised or even killing someone who wasn't threatening your life but was provoking intense anger wouldn't be a crime.
