On NBC's Friday morning talk show, chief medical editor Nancy Snyderman, explained to viewers that it's just
good science to abort an unborn child that may have a genetic disorder,
explaining that testing for such conditions, "gives parents a chance to decide whether they're going to continue that pregnancy or not. This is the science of today."

In addition, if liberals continue with their agenda, the only baby girls being born will be born to Conservative families, since liberals have expressed a desire to use gender biased abortions to kill female fetuses.

Which party was it 0bama was saying is engaged in a "War on Women?"

I think he got it wrong again - as usual.

I saw my daughter born. At first I was frightened to see that her head seemed to be misshaped and I thought, because of the squished appearance of her face that she may have been retarded. I had all of the fears of pre-birth parents and didn't know how I would react to having a less than normal child. I looked at her as the doctor unwrapped the umbilical cord from her neck and body and I just didn't care anymore. All of those fears were gone. I loved her immediately and knew I would no matter what her condition. I feared that she was Mongoloid but that didn't matter. I just wanted to be her father.
It turned out that she was perfectly formed and turned out to be a beautiful baby and is now an intelligent (gifted) and beautiful woman. I was, however, ready to accept the bad as well as the good. I am her father and I accept all of the responsibilities as being such.
I had another daughter and she is the same way; gifted and beautiful. Either way in which the situation could have turned out, they are my daughters and i love them. Let nature take its course.

The perpetrators of a master race certainly are not progressives. The are conservatives, proponents of Bush's New World Order.

Now, to aborting fetuses that are not viable and seriously defective, that is a personal choice and none of my or your business.
  • Bill kudabux 2012/06/14 15:52:50

Not the fetuses either, I suppose.

Your remark wasn't of the "New World Order". It was of a "Brave New World."
I guess you think that abortion on demand for late term pregnancy is OK whether or not the fetus is "viable."

You don't know what I think. But I'll let you in on it: I do not agree with abortion on demand for late term pregnancy, only if the fetus is not viable. Got it? Now who really cares what I think? I certainly don't give a rats ass what you think, only if it affects me.

Progressives look upon themselves as 'Enlightened' they believe their goal is to save the country from what they consider to be 'dumb trailer trash" so we need to be herded for our own good, mind you. Into what THEY consider good enough for the rest of the country.

Hitler felt that slavs should ONLY be taught enough to count to 100 and read road signs. Look at the state of public schools today....and you tell me? They are only teaching kids enough to say 'Ya want fries with that?'

Funding is up to the state and local governments, not the Feds. They will come back year after year after year saying, "It's for the children, the teachers, the firemen, the police. Who can be againt that?" There is a $16T national debt that we must fight and throwing money at the states and the unions is not good for the economy. Now they're talking about QE3? Inflation, here I come. We can't pay for everything all the time. We need tax cuts and deregulation and fairer trade with China and others.

Silly. It is sometimes cruel to bring some fetuses into the world. Who, other than a parent, can best make that decision?

The purpose isn't to build a master race, it's to avoid a lifetime of suffering.

As a personal decision, I have absolutely no argument with you.

As a matter of law, most people believe there are some circumstances in which abortion is appropriate--rape, incest, severe birth defects. Society has no means of making better decisions than what a pregnant woman would choose.

Mothers don't have the "right" to choose to kill their unborn. In an extreme case a life is worth a life. This is rarely the case though.

The choices of an individual whether they want to bring a child into the world with serious genetic issues have nothing to do with any progressive agenda. It's just a personal choice.

I may agree with aborting the unfeeling, unaware mass of cells in my wife's body for many different reasons, including having some debilitating genetic disorder. I cannot speak for others.

What is cruel, is forcing strangers to not have this choice.

An unborn child before (around) week 24 simply does not have the physical, biological capacity to feel or think. We know this. We also know that about 80% of all abortions occur before the end of week 10, and drops rapidly from there.

I am not going to teach you biology in SodaHead posts, and I am not going to paste the countless court transcripts where this science is discussed. That is your job. If you have merely assumed all you believe concerning this topic, that is your fault, not mine.
