Do Obama supporters have a mental block that rejects truth they don't want to hear about their "messiah?"

I can't figure out why all the damage the impostor is doing to our country, our Constitution, and our rights, is so difficult for his supporters to see. Oh, I just had a flash of brilliance! No mental block. I am a Democrat and will always vote for the Democratic candidate. I have absolutely nothing in common with the goals of the Republican Party. They don't represent my interests at all.

We're all fallible human beings. I think the "big question" boils down to: "Is this person enough better than you that you trust them to make decisions for you?"

I can't think of anyone who meets that criteria for me.

People vote based on what they know, hear, and feel. That is their right.

People know very little. They vote on looks and who can make the most promises to give them something for free.

Some are brought up as Democrats and don't know any better. Then theres the Union folks that do and believe only what the Union Bosses tell them. The rest are just plain ignorant as to what is truely going on and don't keep up on the politics that are going on in the White House.

You obvioulsy never belonged to a union. Why not read up on the union movement or the life of Walter and Victor Reuther. Read the Grapes of Wrath to find out why unions made a difference in people's lives. Unions are like any other organization often taken for granted and only as good as the people who participate. How many Americans actually get involved with democracy? They believe going to vote is all they are required to do and let someone else do the organizing and hard work. Working people have benefited from unions and even those companies that had no union had to complete with wages and benefits in order to get skilled workers.
The union busting came about when states competed with each other for jobs just like countries do. A state would offer all sorts of incentives for a company to locate there including abatement of taxes and site ready location with plumbing and electricity suppled by the tax payers and then the icing on the cake was, "We will make sure you don't have to deal with a union."

I have a few liberal relatives that still love Obama. It's impossible to pull up facts about Obama. They rant talking points like a woman's right to control her body, conservatives are racist, Republicans only care about the rich and my personal favortie IT'S BUSH'S FAULT.
