Do Obama supporters have a mental block that rejects truth they don't want to hear about their "messiah?"

Almost had a fight a couple hours ago at the fitness club with a Lib who got mad at me for telling him Obama gave 800,000 work permits to illegals last month. He said, "Obama would never do something like that with so many of our own people out of work."
And the guy didn't want to hear anything else Obama's been doing to hurt America either.

Thaank you verry much!
*Anyone* who's just picking a candidate because he/she sounds good is probably rejecting truth they don't want to hear.
We're all fallible human beings. I think the "big question" boils down to: "Is this person enough better than you that you trust them to make decisions for you?"
I can't think of anyone who meets that criteria for me.
The union busting came about when states competed with each other for jobs just like countries do. A state would offer all sorts of incentives for a company to locate there including abatement of taxes and site ready location with plumbing and electricity suppled by the tax payers and then the icing on the cake was, "We will make sure you don't have to deal with a union."
