DO NOT BE TOO QUICK TO JUDGE THIS, THINK IT OVER.... Science is showing us that gay people are born gay. That being the case, shouldn't we be trying to cure it like any other genetic abnormality that affects behavior?(Like ADHD, OCD, Tourettes, etc.?)

Like I said, approach this idea with an open mind and think before you post... Don't assume that just because someone advocates looking for a cure that they are a bigot. If your child was diagnosed with ADHD and unable to focus, affecting his school and personal life, would you not seek treatment for your child?

Why not "cure" redheadedness, unusually high levels of intellect, and left-handedness (other forms of "genetic abnormality"). The person who posted this nonsense should study a little history. The last society which engaged in eugenics of this nature went down in flames, literally, in 1945, and its destruction was well deserved.

What do I think? I think the gay community better reconsider their alliance with the pro-abortion crowd because when science will be able to determine homosexuality in the womb, the homosexual crowd is going to reconsider their questionable alliance.

People should just leave gay people alone. They aren't hurting anything or anybody. If this is proven scientifically, that's fantastic. Now I understand why organized religious groups hate science because they don't want to be proven wrong, but I knew that all along.

Even in the gay community, the issue is pushed that people are born gay, those opposed are the one's who see it as a choice, that's an observable fact.

Yes, you're right! I'll buy that one. Homosexuality being genetic has been proven, but there are many other facets of the scientific community which this issue is infinitesimal.

Where is the source of this study?
In the 70s homosexuality was considered by the entire physiological community to be a mental disorder. It was written in most textbooks...Of course political pressure has changed that. Now its shoved it in our faces day after day, like they are trying to hide something about it. Honestly, I dont care who is gay or if they can get married. I just dont need to be constantly forced to accept it as something normal.

I don't see trying to cure homosexuality as being an evil or hateful thing. From a purely scientific standpoint it makes sense, if it were any other behavioral disorder we would be looking for a cure...
