First off, you're to be congratulated for offering another option. As a conservative, I think it's fair to say that this isn't something I would hold liberals accountable for as a whole.
The person or persons who did the "branding" are the ones with blood on their hands.

Yes they do - the organization is like any other, for example the organization the man worked for as a volunteer. They are ordinary people who are against abortion and believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. Terrifying!!!!!

I don't believe that. No one on the left is calling for murder of people on the right for the first time in quite a while. The New Black Panthers aren't, Weathermen aren't, feminists aren't. This is easily the weakest moment to make a claim like that. This is simply the result of an individual taking rhetoric too far. Taking the view that it was the left's fault helps their cause. It reduces the value of personal responsibility, it justifies gun regulations, and it helps their social justice arguments. We aren't liberals.

People get pissy when Someone is bold about an opinion that doesn't fit theirs. And Claiming someone is a hate monger or racist is an easy cop out. I don't Subscribe to the FRC mentality, but I'm aware of the fact that I live in a land that allows them to have that opinion, and shout it out loud from the top of every roof if they so choose. I myself have opinions that many don't agree with, It's just the way it goes.
