Do I have to divorce my wife because she has a job and I don't?

So my wife took me off her health insurance two years ago because the rates kept going up (but obama, you promised rates wouldn't rise! Yeah right...). Now with obamacare will she have to pay for my insurance again whether she wants to or not?
Will I have to divorce her and we live in sin because that way I get free health care?

Obie could give a flying rip about any of us CITIZENS ..
no matter what ..
even if I divorce myself ..
I'll be paying much HIGHER Costs (already adding up and it is in the double digits the way the costs are rising) ..
and yet .. be denied Health Care .. at the same time ..
No of course not, don't be silly...
No one is forcing you to buy insurance. You may choose to pay the penalty instead. ( $95 per year or 1% of yearly income). No one will come haul you away and jail you if you refuse . ACA specifically forbids that.
Thanks!
Divorce may be our only option...I'm not kidding.
As to your concern, the Health Care plan isn't even going to start to take effect until next year and most of it in 2014. Hopefully by that time, you will understand just what it means for you. However, considering the enormous cost of heralth care in this country, I never cease to be amazed that even Conservatives are opposed to Reform. Modern day presidents from Nixon to Clinton have been trying to address this issue and the very first president to bring it to the table was Teddy Roosevelt.
But I get off topic like you did. So what about it? Will obamacare force my wife to pay for my health insurance since she's the only one with a job?
Sure, the Pubs have said they plan to dismantle the plan next year and then apply their own Reform, but I think we both know that while they will work tirelessly and politically to do so, they have no alternative plan and no interest in finding one. Had they really been concerned, they had 8 years to do so, 6 of them in majority. This has been on the back burner for decades and when they could have gotten a handle on it, they didn't.
As far as TORT. Tord is already practically the law of the land. I know in my state it sure is. I can see frivilous, expensive suits being eliminated, but what if they took out your wrong kidney? Even that has a minimum limit.
There is no doubt that there are things to be worked out, but its a start. One that's long overdue.
P.S. I'm currently out of state and found a computer to check on my sodyhead friends. I'll have to discuss this further when I get back next week....my time is up. Have a great weekend.
Have fun and be careful...
Taxes! Taxes! We don't need more freakin taxes!
