I am a Christian, but an American also. In otherwords, I can't push for the installation of Sheria Law of the Muslims with out violating the laws of God and the Constitution at the same time. I can not follow Communism because it violates several articles of the Constitution, chiefly Article 4; Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence. And any Congress of President that refuses to do that is a traitor.

Therefore, I can be an American and a Christian under the Constitution, But;

"a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all." where the Constitution is concerned. The Constitution does not violate any of the laws of God.

It was done during our first election for president. That was at the first of the year Feb or MArch. And it was resolved within a day!! It was very wrong, but taken care of. A few foolish people does not a party make.

According to the report I read, it had been flying for more than a month with complaints from numerous individuals doing nothing but giving the Democratic headquarters MORE resolve to keep it up! ONLY when the 76 year old Korean Vet solicited a local Television news crew, was the flag taken down!

That may be true but it is still old news of an event that has been resolved. So far as I know these "Obama Flags" aren't flying now.

It was some woman and it was taken down the next day. It wasn't Obama and no I didn't know about it 6 monts ago. Do you actually know what you put up as a site? It has a date on it and that's the first thing I look for. You should too.. It helps to keep you from looking foolish. lol

NO, she did not take it down the "next day!" According to the news report, she had numerous request from "locals" to take it down and she refused for more than a month! Finally, that 76 year old Korean Vet came to the scene with a Television News team and that's when she FINALLY agreed to take it down!

Did I mislead anyone by not saying this happened six months ago? What IF it happened a year ago.... what would it matter?

The fact that a fellow Soda Head member sent it to me and agreed to allow me to post it is the first time I've seen this video. So just HOW does posting an event that happened six months ago that NO ONE else has seen make me look foolish? :(

The age of the article I did not notice, but that really doesn't matter. People need to understand that the flag, the allegence to the flag, and the oath to defend the Constitution actually represents the same thing. Defame one, you defame all, and are not an American in the spirit of the country, it is as simple as that. I didn't learn that in public school, but learned it in NCO school in Germany.

I agree but it also should go for all. No excuses. I was pointing out the date because this issue was settled long ago. (6 months) It was corrected within a day or so. Kind of late in the day to bring this out. Or maybe someone was trying to make Obama look bad. In reality, he had nothing to do with it. So to me, it means nothing now. I'm sure this lady learned her lesson. The flag is still respected to most of us and that incident was hopefully rare.

IF leadership in the party is NOT reflected in their "chain of command," then why the hell are they paid to support the President? IF that was a Republican who had that flag hanging, Romney would have FIRED her!

I can agree with that, however, as it has been pointed out that Obama himself came out and attacked Romney on something he said more than a year ago. So where is the differance where the time something was done is important? It wasn't to Obama or the Democrats, so why should it be for others?

They both have done it. (meaning romney and obama) but why put up stuff on sh that's dated and been rehashed over and over and over.

That's a question for Obama and Romney to answer, and why they allow it to happen.

Somebody posted this article months ago. I know because I responded to it. Try to keep up. It's easy to do some research before you post a question, espeially since you're already on the internet.

It matters because evidently the new article says it took her a month to take it down and she did so the next day. You are totally correct in it was wrong no matter how long it was flying. I'm not defending that. I also believe it is wrong to not be truthful about it and try to enrage. That is causing more division in the country. What she did was HER not the president. I doubt he knew anything about it. And NO he isn't my hero nor do I support over half the things he does. I just think to bring it up and at this time is wrong. And making it seem like it just happened when it was months ago and hasn't been flown since, so it was handle back then.

Where did I say I doubted anything? I may have said that the Enquirer is not that creditable, but that is the truth. However, when I learned that the Sentinel was their source, that changes a few things.

It shouldn't be different for either side and that is part of my point. What she did was wrong. But she took it down within a day and it hasn't been flown since and the new article makes it seem it just happened. It was handled months ago, yet I question why it would be reported now to make it appearit just happened. It was wrong no matter when it happened, but I think this areticle was mean to divide our country even more. And no, the president is NOT my hero and NO I don't agree with over half of what he does. I know what you mean, but we all have fighred out that for the liberals, the "what fair for me is not fair for you" attatude is their strongest opinion along with "Its Bushes Fault" which they still say about the melt down of the economy, not to mention it was Bush's falt for 9/11 when there is plenty of proof out there that the Democrat housing Corporations Fannie and Freddie were the root causes.
