This is how it works:
When Democrats win elections, Republicans have to go along with whatever they (the Democrats) want.
But when Republicans win elections, they have to "reach across the aisle" to Democrats and "not push their agenda too strongly."
That's what happened in 2000, when the Republicans won the White House after having already won Congress. That's what always happens whenever Republicans win anything. It's nothing but a double-standard.
Do Democrats really want to work with Republicans or do the Democrats just want their way. . . . period?

Just look at BHO! During the campaign he was all for changes in SSA, not so much now. He seems to think that winning with 2% of the vote is somekind of a nmandate!
