Democratic party heads rammed through the revised platform, which includes updated pro-Israel language and the mention of God, against the clear wishes of those voting at the convention in Charlotte

The vote to adopt the new platform requires two-thirds. It's pretty clear that even after asking for multiple votes, two-thirds of the vote was not received. The revised platform was adopted anyway.

    To be absolutely fair, I think they didn't vote to keep "God" out of the platform. However, I think they are anti-Jewish and don't have any liking for Israel and that was the biggest portion of the "Nays". Still, it is disappointing that their hatred of Israel over-rode their feelings about God being in the platform. They had their priorities: God or Jerusalem. God was left by the wayside in favor of being anti-Jerusalem. I wish they had done a separate vote on each issue, then it would have been more clear exactly who they were against. Maybe both. Anyway, the whole think should have been done electronically rather than by teleprompter.

    The reason God and Jerusalem were taken out of the DNC was because Obama and company were afraid of offending the Muslim followers and losing their vote. It was only put back in because the Conservative Dem's were threating to vote eleswhere which added up to more than the Muslim vote.

    Simple Florida is in play with the Jewish vote. Next heat was caused by FoxNews of Durbin which didn't go good and finally many black Christian groups started to complain.
