The goal for Wasserman Schultz is clear: To get Romney to release tax returns and other financial documents.
But the irony of today's event is rich: Debbie Wasserman Schultz has refused--and continues to refuse--to release her own tax returns.
In April, around Tax Day, Wasserman Schultz's Republican congressional opponent, Karen Harrington of Florida, requested the DNC chair release her tax returns. “This week millions of taxpaying Americans will fulfill their requirement of filing their tax returns by paying any and all taxes due to the federal government,” Harrington’s campaign said in a statement. “Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been asking Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney to release his 2011 tax return even after Governor Romney released his 2010 tax return.”

+4It cracks me up when the DNC surrogates try to peg Romney as "the most secretive candidate in history" when Obama's entire life has been redacted and his compiled assembled arranged life as written by Ayers is listed as "real." How about this, Romney can release another year for every single year of transcripts and documentation of exactly who the Obama campaign recieved gifts in kind from during this election run.
Or, for that matter, John Kerry.
Or the fact that John Kerry gave virtually nothing to charity while Romney gave something on the order of $4 million, in addition to his entire inheritance from his father.
Biden gave less than 1.5% of his income to charity.
And Obama pays a lower tax rate than his secretary.
Oh. wait, I just remembered. Romney is Republican. Kerry and the Kennedys are Democrats.
Also, Romney worked for his money.
Kennedy inherited his.
Kerry married his.
And Obama spends yours on vacations.

Romney should challenge her to show up on the steps of the Capitol building with all of 0bie's original paper records & documents and he'll do the same.
