    Oooh... I am so not opening any of these links. The names alone are enough to disturb me, without seeing the words they say and the photos they post.

    This saddens me. I had hoped we were past this sort of thing. I know there are some people on SH like this, but I tell myself it is a select few, that this really can't be the thought process of so many.

    I don't understand it either. So much hatred, how does a person live with so much hatred? It takes so much out of you. I hope these people don't pro-create, though I am certain they will. :(

    Unfortunately, I know a few of these well. I always work up a good trolling mood, but then I get too depressed to go far with it. I've seen several references to these places on Sodahead and other places online. So anyone who wants to claim that racism doesn't exist or cry about reverse racism should count every single anti-black website and see just how high the number is.

    Any site that insults,demeans and makes fun of people is not good. If you are humane, Christian or claim you are good then these sites should upset you. We are suppose to be living in a country that treats each other equal.

    I did open the first site, but jumped out the instant I saw how hideously depraved it is.
    I hate to think that anyone could stumble onto such degrading drivel, let alone children.

    While I did look at the names of these sites, I dared not open even one, because I KNOW they would be blocked sites in my office!

    How am I guilty of the same? It's passed around to degrade people of color and I'm showing people what is going on. You may believe it to be wise to overlook these things and pretend it doesn't exist, but all that does is allows it to fester.

    Obvious; those who pass these sites around do so mostly in private and for the most part wear a mask. I'm just showing how asinine/hateful people can be. It's kind of pathetic to try and equate me who didn't create the site or sent it to myself as being the same as those who sent it out of maliciousness.

    First off, giving links to child pornography can put one into prison. In addition, if anyone ever happened to stumble upon or be sent child pornography; they are suppose to contact the local officials.

    Your rebuttal holds no base, and society isn't in denial about child pornography.

    Going against ignorance isn't promoting it Cookie. Nothing is achieved by ignoring; I have ignored and now things are getting worse. By ignoring it some more and wishing or pretending for it to go away won't make that happen. Now I'm confronting it head on.

    In addition; why would I not want to know the others that believe in this diatribe?

    It's good to know what type of people think along those lines. Rising above it is not being like the people who created those websites out of anger. Rising above it is refraining from ridiculing other groups and being hateful. MLK didn't ignore racism, he took it on elegantly while rising above it for an example.

    If you want to attack racism head-on, you don't do it by promoting nasty websites. If someone on SodaHead sent them to you, then you report them. The way you laid this all out did nothing to fight racism; instead it created more on-line traffic to a lot of disgusting sites. Not to mention making voyeurs out of everyone dumb enough to look. There are plenty of ways to fight racism. This is most definitely not it.

    I've got a better example; if MLK had used a lot of racist jokes in his speeches, because he heard someone else telling them, would that have fought racism, or perpetuated it? There are plenty of sick bastards in the world, and a fat lot of them are on SH. But not one of them is going to admit that they enjoyed looking at those sites. They will, however, look at them and then share them. That's what I mean by promoting ignorance. What you want to do is find a way to shut them down.
