I can't find anything appealing about the GOP, being responsible in whole for the mess we find ourselves in. Frankly, it doesn't matter who the president is, as long as it's a democrat with liberal ideals. Since Ike, the cons have installed nothing more than office pranks on America, and can take credit for the "last big spender"...."W".

traded my Obama vote in Kansas to a guy in Virginia. He voted for Obama in a state that mattered and I voted for Nader in Kansas that was going McCain anyway.

I can trust President Obama more than I can ever trust Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is like a robot toy, however you twist it, it goes. And this is something the Koch brothers, the Tea-party and all the rich folks will do should he become President. They will twist him to what they want him to do, and he will follows. He just cannot be trusted and the people can't see that or know that by now, there is nothing they will see or know again.

I agreed with Ron Paul back in 2008, but wasn't a U.S. citizen yet. So, I never vote for Obama.

Honestly i didn't vote for either I am a moderate and they were both too extreme for me. I liked Obama the least because I felt he was too inexperienced for the job. I wish now I had voted for McCain an error I will correct in 2012.

As an American, I can not vote for him in good conscience because he clearly doesn't respect the U.S. Constitution.

As a Catholic, I can not vote for him in good conscience because I find him morally offensive to all Christian denominations and other religions.

As a taxpayer, I can not vote for him in good conscience because he is enslaving the next generation of Americans into unrecoverable debt.

Indirectly now I realize I did vote for Obama, by voting for Ron Paul as a write-in vote. But I learned from my mistake. Just hope all Ron Paul supporters aren't too stupid to realize that a write-in vote for Ron Paul will only help Obama to a 2nd term.

I'd rather be considered stupid than vote for anyone else I do NOT wish to see in the white house. If I have a choice, I'm going to use it before it is taken away from me.

Considering President Obama has come up against the party of "No" in the House and will filibuster everything his party puts forward. I think he and the Democrats have accomplished a lot of good things.

There has been no "filibuster" in the house......they were straight up and down votes to which the republicans voted NO to the destructionist ways of democrats and Obama.

If we apply your liberal use of the term filibuster then that is exactly what Dirty Harry Reid has done for the past 2 years refusing to allow republican legislation to even be brought to the floor for debate or vote.........but, thats not what was done.....Reaid just tabled the motions.

Fair enough. I voted different for the same reason. But Obama was not who I voted for. I felt Palin was more of an attention grabber or sideshow than anything else.

I like his policies more than I like Romneys. The question shouldn't be did he live up to every thing that was expected from him. Too many political promises get abandoned once politicians are in office. However, It should be will America best be served by a Romney or an Obama Administration.

What do you think of Ron Paul and his policies?

I really like some of his ideas and really dislike others. All though I think his stance on foreign policy goes a little too far to the isolationist side of things, the military budget has ballooned unabated under both the Bush and Obama administrations. Obama ran as the peace candidate who would restore habeus corpus and respect civil liberties. He's largely ignored this while in office because it's electorally inconvenient. I really like Ron Paul when he talks about things like the drug war and eliminating tax expenditures. I'm a left leaning libertarian so I agree with Paul on quite a lot of issues. However, there are a few sticking points as to why I cannot endorse him. Paul's positions on monetary policy, education and the environment are diametrically opposed. I think the DoED and EPA serve vital functions for society and need to remain in existence. I also think the US dollar is fine the way it is. Sure more transparency in the fed is always a good thing but replacing it with a gold standard would too harmful.
