Did you notice the Liberal attack on Sodahead Yesterday? While Conservatives were out celebrating the 4th of July, liberals went rampant through the site. Not a joke, look at votes and posts.

Because obviously EVERYONE that logged into sodahead on Independence Day was a raving lunatic liberal and there's NO WAY possible that 1)they live in different time zones 2)aren't American 3)had finished all the celebrating 4)were waiting on celebrations 5)had wildfires to worry about 6)had celebrations rained out 7)had a boring night shift job (yeah, hard to believe that the police/emergency workers, hospitals, and restaurants would DARE to be open on our country's birthday!), 8)knew how to multitask things, 9) couldn't afford fireworks, were low-on or had no gas 10)just like debating.

I didn't notice, I don't really care. I don't think your political party affiliation has anything to do with whether you celebrate independence day or not, but here is a possible theory for you.
Many people were off of work on the 4th and so had time to get on SodaHead..... hmmmm Not everyone gets on at work when they are suppose to be working.

Tell you what is stupid is all of you. I told my ex-wife "Watch how many liberal panty waists I can get in an uproar. Watch how many will get so serious and think they are being witty. How many of them would think this was a serious posting". You people never let me down. She now has to buy the margaritas tonight. Thank you all for not disappointing me.

I was out celebrating at a picnic with my kid yesterday; I wasn't thinking about this website.

Interesting that the author was here to "notice" it, though.

Noticed it this morning in that three hour period I had from 4 to 7 between jobs.

Your right. Is worth a good discussion sometimes and a good laugh at others. I just thought the whole thing rather humorous. I had been following a few postings and for that day it was rather lopsided. Made me grin enough to share it. Makes me grin now to read some of the reactions.

We all have our own ways of celebrating. Usually mine involves travelling to see my family, attending the parade, having a bbq, playing games and watching the fireworks. Because the holiday was on a Wednesday I was unable to travel this year. It did make me sad.



Yesterday was quiet. A little sad as I was missing my family, and I did post on SH. I also baked a red, white and blue cake, grilled and then took my boys to watch the fireworks. It made me cry as usual.



There is no conspiracy, and your way of celebrating is not better than anybody else. Diversity is what makes our country great.

This is why I think people are way too worked up over this. Just because there was a spike on a certain day does not mean they are unpatriotic. And those who were out in force to celebrate good for you.

The reality is that some people still have to work on the 4th of July and yet we never are to forget what our country means to us. Freedom was what the founding fathers had in mind but they never thought they would see the day where people have abused it on a regular basis.

They have lost what it means to be free and feel it is their right to express it and stand nose to nose to those who do not feel the same way. Just because one person has a different view of how they see our country does not mean they are unpatriotic.


in fact I applaud those who think in terms of being outside the box. Our FF would ask you to embrace your own as they did to escape the tyranny of the country they cam from. Be proud of who you are and not waste the energy with negative attacks.

I once owned a pig I named him George, I also had a goat, I named him Washington....
One day I returned from my studies and found that they had killed each other...

NPR radio had some programs that ridiculed the Declaration of Independence yesterday.

Needless to say, I wasn't surprised.
