Planned Parenthood is a valuable resource for millions of mostly poor women, since our congress has decided that those poor women's health should be sacrificed to pacify religious extremists, somebody has to fill the void and help those women.

Walt Disney doesn't contribute to Planned Parenthood, he's been dead for decades, but his company taking up the cause of health care for women is a sign that at least some American companies do care about the people who have made them wealthy.

It does not surprise me at all.

Walt Disney had over the years never ceased to surprise me of all the crap they have done or put out.

Well, you see, Minnie Mouse found herself pregnant with a baby belonging to Goofy, and
she didn't wish to surrender her career for an ugly and oversized baby to care for the rest of her life. So, she asked Walt to make "arrangements" for her to maintain control of her body and the rest of her life. Walt made a contribution, believing that Minnie had a right to decide if she wanted to spend the next 50 years raising this unwanted wolf-child or dumping it onto the California welfare system, perhaps for it's lifetime. What is wrong with this choice Minnie made?

Each company should be allowed to distribute their dollars how they see fit...it's a free country. Now, I also have the right to not purchase their products if I don't like it.

Honestly I could not care less. Disney doesn't represent anything to me or my children beyond that they make toys and produce films that we sometimes watch. We associate them with entertainment and are not at all bothered by anything unrelated. As a parent I am personally responsible for my children's value system. I'm not one of those people who think everyone else is responsible for what my kids are doing or learning. Disney and likewise all industry entertainment is such a small irrelevant part of our lives that it just doesn't matter to me. The things we most often do as a family excludes those kinds of businesses altogether anyway. They might make the football we play with in the yard but who is thinking about that? Not me.

Of course they don't...unless you eat at most fast food places, shop at Walmart, Sears, Target, Penny's, Macy's, K-Mart, Walgreens, CVS...Sams, the list goes on and on. Unless of course you mean to boycott them by just not buying their products and you are not including giving your business to the companies that support them. If you shop at Walmart for example you are still supporting Disney even if you do not specifically buy a Disney licensed product. You have undoubtedly not been a Disney customer for a few years now so the loss of your business isnt going to make a difference to anyone. You already dont buy the stuff so what will change?

Yea, we don't want to forget WWII do we? Some still are fighting the battle at Gettysburg, and the one at Bunker Hill, which should also not be forgotten.
Then, there are those feared "Progressives" who are planning for tomorrow
and the day after that, and thinking if Minnie Mouse had a right to her own
body and it's functions. Lots of things to think about, aren't there?

Those that tend to forget their history, are also doom to repeat it as well. Thats the very reason they used to teach grade school children in the 50s about the evil deeds of the Nazi's in the first place
