In a taped interview, the girlfriend of Trayvon Martin (pictured) told a prosecutor that the slain teen sounded scared before he was shot to death by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman in Sanford, Fla.

Trayvon Martin's girlfriend told a prosecutor that minutes before the Florida teen was shot, he sounded “scared” on the phone and told someone to “get off, get off.”

The girl, whose name has not been released, said the 17-year-old had told her he was being tailed by a “white man” — presumably neighborhood watchman George Zimmmerman.

“He was breathing hard. [His] voice kinda changed. I know he was scared. [His] voice was getting low,” the girl said in the taped April 2 interview about the Feb. 26 shooting.

She said she heard Martin say, “Why you following me for?” and a man respond, “What you doing around here?”

There was silence and then she heard Martin say, “Get off” at least twice before the call ended.

The recording was part of a mountain of evidence in the explosive case made public this week. The document dump also included autopsy results that showed Martin had traces of marijuana in his blood when Zimmerman killed him. Photos were also released showing Zimmerman with black eyes and cuts on the back of his head. He claims he shot the unarmed Martin in self-defense while being pummeled.

Prosecutors have charged Zimmerman with second-degree murder.tconnor@nydailynews.com

That what they say, the DA is holding about 10% of the information they say! Florida is not all that is cracked up to be. High crime rate and cops getting shot. the other night going home two people tried to car jack a car on the interstate in Miami and two officer were shot.One in the neck and the other in the had. Another had a accident just getting to the
crime scene. To much crime, drugs, crooked cops, poverty and ultra rich. Every night on the local news,it crime after crime robbery's, killing and drugs.

You're not the first one to use the word "stalk". That tells me: you want to criminalize his actions and that your biased against Zimmerman. I'm sure you know Zimmerman volunteered as a neighborhood watchman, because of several burglaries in the area. "Following" a suspicious character in that neighborhood speaks well of Zimmerman.

Because it was the middle of the night, he was prowling around and he didn't live there.
ANYONE prowling around your neighborhood after midnight should cause you to be suspicious.

They have used the word stalked on the TV down here in Florida, that is were I got the word from. NBC News Miami. He criminalized his actions by killing a 17 old boy who had no weapon. he was aggressor, not Trayvon Martin.

It wasn't stalking and zimmerman did nothing wrong. what his girlfriend says is hearsay and speculation. If Martin was scared, why did he go after zimmerman? The 911 call recorded zimmerman telling the dispatcher that he lost Martin and didn't know where he went and that he was returning to his vehicle.

If this guy was following me your damn right I be concerned if this guy was stalking me. But, things would have turned out different. But he was stalking a 17 year old boy!!
We will never really know what happened if there is no eye witness to what happened that night! What we do know is the police told Zimmerman not to pursue reaped times and he did not. Did they run a toxicology test on Zimmerman, what was he on? What was his frame of mind?Why was he carry a gun if he has a mental illness and why would he be on a neighborhood watch having a mental illness? To many questions no answers for. WHAT WE DO KNOW IS ZIMMERMAN PURSUED A 17 YEAR OLD BOY AND KILLED A 17 YEAR OLD BOY WHO WAS NOT ARMED. TRAYVON WEAPONS WERE A BAG OF CANDY AND A CAN PF TEA! REGARDLESS OF HIS SKIN COLOR, IF THIS WAS YOUR SON WOULDN'T YOU WANT JUSTICE FOR THIS KILLER!!!!!
