Credit rating agency, Egan Jones, dropped our credit rating from AA+ to AA. Back in July, this same company dropped our credit rating from AAA to AA+ just before Standard and Poor did the same.
FTA:
Egan Jones warned. "Without some structural changes soon, restoring credit quality will become increasingly difficult . . . without some structural changes soon, restoring credit quality will become increasingly difficult." They added that there was a 1.2% probability of U.S default in the next 12 months. The company cited the fact that the US’s total debt, which now equals its total GDP, is rising and soon will eclipse the national GDP; the company sees the debt rising to 112% of the GDP by 2014.

At what point will you be concerned?
Exactly how much do you think your will generate by increasing taxes on "the rich".(which includes charities and retirees.)
Hell, you can't even make the 'blame the TEA party' meme stick anymore.
This election, obama has to wear the big boy pants. And the question will be "Can we survive whoever the GOP candidate is better than four more years of obama?"
The answer is a resounding "YES!"
We don't need a president that is all cuddly-wuddly. We NEED a fiscal conservative. Failing that, we need anyone that is going to reign in spending.

Which is pretty much anyone.
