I know that you RepugniCons wrote the Bush tax cuts to sunset in 10 years, and that deadline is coming up. I know your lying Representatives and Senators are going to do their best to see that nothing is done to stop the tax increase so you can blame Obama. Yeah, I pretty well know what going on.

I knew the end of the "bush tax cuts" was coming cap and trade in cali... well cali is a lost cause and has been for the better part of 3 decades its why I left

as for the 1800 extra people making more than 50k have to pay... well under MR Obama our income has dropped by 60% and we now make less than 35k a year.... so just to be snarky I would GLLLLLAAAAADDDLLLYYYY pay the extra 1800 if it meant our over all income could again come up... snark.

It's part of the greater flexibility he'll have after re-election... Reid has deferred serious discussions about getting our arms around debt, deficits, and realistic budgets until after the election, and by not extending the former Bush tax cuts, Obama can still Blame Bush for devastating the economy even further and avoid responsibility for anything...

Hit the wrong one...(wanted other) what makes me laugh is how the Left blame the Republicans in the Congress. First it takes both House to pass or block a bill the Congress may make the Tax laws, the spending bills, etc but both House must pass such bills. As for our Left-wing friends who try to put the blame on the Republican Congress, from Jan 2007 to Nov 2010 both the Senate & Congress was completely controlled ( VETO PROOF CONTROL) by the Democrats...so Obama from Jan 2008 till the Republican takeover had 3 years of Full control...spending still skyrocketed, unemployment went up, National Debt went up so you blame the Republicans who still have to deal with a Senate controlled by Harry Reid who will block any reduction to, Spending, National Debt or to at least debate ways to get the country going in the right direction.

Another of the total scare taticts of the Republican Party who has caused this mess in the first place.

There has been a tax program presented by the President nearly since day one of his Presidency. To keep the current tax rates for those earning UNDER $250K per year and raise the rates on those making OVER $250 K per year to the pre Bush Tax cuts level of 39.7%, further that rate would be on ALL types of income elimiating the special treatment on Capitol Gains (except the sale of a primary residence) and dividend income, like where Romney gets most of his money from.

Don't be fooled by this bluster and such since it is far more the Republicans at fault here than President Obama.

Further, if you want this deadlock and do nothing Republican Congress dealt with VOTE for the Democrats and not MORE OF THE SAME REPUBLICAN DO NOTHING KEEP AMERICANS UNEMPLOYED CONGRESS>
