It’s 13 weeks away, but Mitt Romney has already begun quietly prepping for his high-stakes inaugural debate with Barack Obama.

Romney sources told the Daily News that during a three-day retreat he hosted late last month for big-time Republican contributors and party mandarins at Park City, Utah, the candidate also found time to squeeze in the first two rounds of what staffers call “debate prep.”

Romney convened six to eight campaign aides around a conference table at the elegant Chateaux at Silver Lake. They sorted through a variety of topics sure to come up in the three Presidential debates, like the state of the economy and the war in Afghanistan, and kicked around the best “test responses” to questions they expect Obama and debate moderators will toss at the ex-Massachusetts governor.

More such encounters are expected over the summer, but what one source called “podium practices” with an Obama surrogate won't happen for awhile — mainly because Romney doesn’t care for them all that much.

“There will be some role-playing but not as much as other Presidential candidates,” a Romney adviser said. “The traditional model doesn’t fit his style.”

His "truth" is false and misrepresents all reality.

Mitten is known to be a slow learner. Do you recall he spent about $150Million of his own money a few years ago trying to become the POTUS? And, here he is repeating the same mistake. He needs to practice, practice, practice to recall his actions as Governor to make a health care reform bill, for that will surely be a big topic of conversation.

I suppose he is uncomfortable on stage with a "black man", so the "surrogate" debates will be brief? Doesn't that fit the image?

Unfortunately, racial preferences and bigotry are not "B.S." as you suggest, but alive and well all over America today. Notice the white faces on the platforms with Mitten, and the black ones with Barack? And, do you know of any minority members of the Mormon Church? There are some, of course. I went to a Tabernacle Choir concert a couple of years age and there were two black persons out of the 250 voices, a man and wife. The man sang a solo, "Deep River", quite well, of course. Great display of "inclusiveness" I thought.

He sang that very song in the Red Rock Amphitheater at Denver, CO., did it beautifully, and received a standing ovation. I thought it a bit "over the top" that he was asked to do that number, but, I didn't select the program.

Making stupid and vulgar remarks reveals a stupid and vulgar mind, unable to grasp the world as it is.

I'm sure this is true in that Mitt knows very little about foreign policy. He is not a member of Congress and it has been years since he was a governor. It would take 13 weeks just to get him ready for all that our foreign policy entails in a global arena.

Unless things have changed, three presidential debates have been scheduled. Both Obama and Romney will be advised about the topics to be debated. The economy should be right there. What else? Foreign policy. Maybe immigration , education, the deficit, the military, and of course, the ACA health plan.

It's what you call being prepared. Keep in mind, Obama will not have his Teleprompter. He will look like a stuttering idiot.

Stuttering idiot??? Rewind the 2008 debate tapes. Go on. Apparently you ever saw them or you are in deep denial.
