I am perplexed by the whole dinosaur story. Didn't God save two of each animal in the ark with Noah? If that is the case then were do dinosaurs fit into the whole story? Why would God put the bones here for us to find? But what difference is there if there were or weren't dinosaurs

God created everything including dinosaurs. If you read Job 40 you will see that its even mentioned in the Bible. If you read it, and decide you still don't know or understand then just remember, the Bible explains in 1 Corinthians 13:9-13 that we only know partly, but we will one day know or understand everything.

i have nothing to say to people who dont think the dinosours lived when they did that the bones arent real. if god is real he must be a very busy person y bother testing our faith. and if satan put it here well then when we go to hell because the fact that we believed in his bones we can all revolt against him i mean there has to be a lot of us and there's only one of him and we're already dead and going to deal with excruciating pain y not try to get rid of satan...and y in the world hasnt god done that yet he's had plenty of time....srry dinosaur r real and they lived long before humans excisted.

Funny thing is, the bible is just a book of borrowed stories from hundreds of years ealier. The churches figured out they could control simple people with fear, based on the bible and collect money. When it is all said and done, the bible is just a book written by people. Jesus was a man, with a wife and kids, who was killed for his religious speaking, revisionist history turned him into the son of god. Science provides hard facts and provable theroy on the evolution of the Earth. Religion is created to explain away a scary big world and help people feel part of something bigger...whatever gets you through the day. But dont run around filling kids minds full of satan and evil, just to scare them into submission. Whats next, going back to believeing in witchdoctors, spells and curses???? I believe in God, but I also believe in evolution. I don't think the Genesis account is literal, but believe that God works on an entirely different time table than we do. A day to him could be millions of years. Who knows? If dinosaur bones test your faith, your God is not big enough.

Neither. I believe in God, I believe that he made everything that is here on Earth and in our Universe. Us humans on Earth are selfish to believe that we are special enough to have God just make one planet amongest an infinate number just for us, no. Dinosars were here, the big band happened, there is proof of all this. But why did it happen? What was at the very beginning? God made all of this. Just like he had in other systems in the cosmos. Where "aliens" come from, we are ignorant to believe that there is no such thing as "aliens". If it happened to us of course it's happened else where, God made it happen. The bones of dinosaurs were very real and were just a fact, something that happened, a step that had to be taken before us humans could inhabit the Earth.

The belief came up by those that believe in God and only in God, those that refuse to accept the THEORY of evolution. They believe that bones are a fake and Satan had put them here on Earth to weaken our believe in God. I for one do not believe in this but that is where the belief came from.

You really believe there was worldwide flood?! This has been proven false by thousands of scientists. Science and logic tell us that much water could never have covered the entire Earth, since the water content of the Earth does not change. It is like moisture in a greenhouse, it evaporates, then condenses and falls back to Earth.
Besides, the history behind the story of a great flood, predates the bible by over 500 years. Like all the stories in the bible, they have been borrowed from earlier verbal and written stories...as is all religion.

It's really scary to realize that the morons who don't accept Scientific findings are, for the most part, running (or should I say "ruining") our Country...

Dinosaur bones are found here because they lived here long before man evolved. The Idea that God or Satan put them here to test our faith is ridiculous. There is no rational basis to draw such a conclusion. It shows how far some people will go to delude themselves. It's pretty scary that some people need to promote ideas like this to try to suppress the truth about natural processes. I've always said that you do not need to deny the existence of a creator to accept a natural process. I've also always felt that any religion that needed to try to keep it's followers faithful by intentionally keeping them ignorant didn't have a lot of credibility.

Mag, I most definitely believe in God. I have always held the belief that we were created by God, in His image, but, I have never found anything in the Bible concerning evolution. As such, I hold the belief that God created man in His image, but through an evolutionary process. I believe that this scenario is entirely possible and if that is in fact what happened, then fossils are a very natural element without being a trick by Satan or a test of faith by God.

If you believe the bible...It is fair to consider the scripture that says for the Almighty, "a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as a day." I believe the Creator uses Point Mutation...a key evolutionary concept to further the ongoing process of creation. It is scientifically unsound to believe in a single creation attempt...Even if all you can see is a child born for proof.
