Today on Meet The Press Rep. Bachmann said there is no war on women except from the president, the president has seen the loss of 885,000 women's jobs, gas has gone from $2.50 to $4.00, the Senate has not produced a budget.
There is a GOP war on women. Abortion laws force decisions on women and doctors that are not ones they would make for themselves. Invasive trans-vaginal ultrasounds, life at conception ending pill use, IUDs, Planned Parenthood defunding, medicaid defunding, all harm women.
The votes against the Ledbetter Act, Gov. Walker rescinding equal pay for women laws. 500,000 state jobs cut, better tax writeoffs for foreign jobs, done by the GOP has seen more than half the job losses about half a million jobs.
Gas was $4.05 a gallon in July 2008 due to the bidding up via futures making oil $138/bbl. The Sen. Leahy bill, the Pelosi House passed CFTC bill all died in the Senate with the GOP abusing the rules stopping a vote. It is estimated 15-20% of the gas price is due to speculation, but the GOP wants the rich to take their end. We are using a million less bbl a day from 2006 and proce about 20% more but the prices are governed by int'l commodity markets giving an executive nothing but releasing strategic reserves as a tiny temp fix to lower prices. Bachmann taking the $2.50 price at the lowest point in a decade is akin the the Dems taking 750,000 lost jobs Jan 2009 and saying a million job difference a month exists today.
For a long term House member Bachmann should know the constitution specifically states all budgets must begin in the House. The Ryan budget is a non starter, yet after going nowhere the first time, it has been proposed again. There is a lack of demand, not capital with 2 trillion sitting on balance sheets, but the GOP is intent on cutting demand by ending the EIC and other low end help to put another trillion sitting on balance sheets looking for a market. Cutting medicaid will send the disabled out of nursing homes and children and poor seniors with no way to get care. Seniors averaging $19,000 a year in income will be asked to pay an additional $6000 under the Ryan subsidy and a ten year phase out of it leaving seniors without means to do without care being priced out of private for profit plans.

Great post and so good to see the truth now and then.
The White House and its designated hatchet woman Hillary Rosen have shown their real attitudes about women by suggesting that women who stay at home and take care of their children are lazy and have do not have to do any work. They further suggest that Ann Romney and "stay at home moms" do not have any valid opinions on economic issues and do not understand the struggles that women go through every day. Anne Romney, who has suffered from Multiple Sclerosis and Breast cancer, has raised 5 children and has been a homemaker, but apparantly the Democrats think she is too stupid and lazy to have her views be respected by anybody. The liberal Democrats have declared war on women! Hillary Rosen has become the Reverend Jeremiah Wright of 2012! Congratulations, Mr. President! You sure know how to associate with the right people. When can we expect to hear from Bill Ayers?
I don't want women to be barefoot and pregnant, unless they choose to be. I admire Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton, Kristin Gillebrand, Claire McCaskill, and Nancy Pelosi.
I can't help but notice that you pointed out that Bachman is attractive. In fact, most Conservative women who are well-known, are attractive. And almost none of them have any substance. Don't get me wrong, I like an attractive woman; but for my leaders, I'm not concerned with her tits. I just want her brain to be fully functional. If she happens to BE attractive, that's fine; but it doesn't make them more appealing as a leader to me.
The other women you mentioned are all liberals, but I would only kick them out of bed if Michele became jealous!
You left out former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm! She is one hot liberal! She will be furious with you!
