And in a Right-To-Work State. Gov Haley should be able to get your state out of danger so you can keep your job. Be happy you aren't in some of the long time liberal run states where their debt is huge and they will have to make serious cuts to state personnel.

Idaho has been a right-to-work state since 1985 and we are doing great. We are almost always running with a surplus, our educational ranking is 29th and our unemployment is at 7.8% which is awfully high for us.

That's a humdinger of a list of waste. The government picks and chooses all the time, as you point out. As to McCain, I'll pass on giving him his due. He's bought and paid for by local corporations. Don't be fooled. It just seemed to me that you were worrying about how taxes are collected rather than why they exist. I see I was picking nits is all.

Ok...1. The law impacts people employed by companies that already provide good healthcare because now the business has to pay a tax for not providing government programs...even if they already offer benefits for their workers...2. At their job they have the option of turning down their employers ins. plan but what's the point if I'm just gonna get taxed if I don't go on the Obama plan? Whatever plan that is BTW....do they know what they are going to provide and how? Nope its all about just getting that dough and control in their mitts..then they'll just go with it...3. No one has the right to take away choices I make about my health....that is my decision...4. I have a job where no insurance is provided...its a part time job...and I'm fine with not having it provided to me by my employer or the government. I pay for it myself and that's how I choose to live my life... I don't need to be rushed to a hospital if I'm ever injured and they put me in the government run hands of the doctors who will be doing as little as possible to help me because we have over crowded hospitals and government run clinics which will be under staffed with under paid...government bred doctors....

Of course he lied, the only time he tells the truth is when it's by accident. This, I think, will be a blessing in disguise. The President is now stuck with a hugely unpopular law that has now been defined as a tax when he said no new taxes. It should now be referred to as "Obamatax." From what I hear, Romney's donations are skyrocketing and the Conservative base is coming together.
