If Newt Gingrich runs for president, as he's expected to do, he won't be the only candidate in the Republican primary field with three marriages under his belt.
But Gingrich has an extra burden in his efforts to explain his marital history to socially conservative primary voters. Gingrich didn't just get divorced, he also cheated on both of his first two wives. And furthermore, he left both of them when they were sick.

Let's remember, Newt famously dumped wife #1 for wife #2 while wife #1 was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery. As in literally went to the hospital to present her with divorce papers while she was recovering from surgery for uterine cancer.
He eventually dumped wife #2 for wife #3 shortly after wife #2 was diagnosed with MS back in 1999. And he was having the affair on wife #2 with wife #3 while he was turning the country upside down trying to drive Bill Clinton from office over his affair with Monica Lewinsky

But Gingrich, naturally, is trying to frame his misdeeds in the best
light possible under the circumstances.
In a March interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network's David Brody, he discussed the issue in religious terms that the voters he hopes to win over may understand:
Newt Gingrich: “There’s no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate. And what I can tell you is that when I did things that were wrong, I wasn’t trapped in situation ethics, I was doing things that were wrong, and yet, I was doing them.”

Sometimes you just feel so passionate about America that you need to go have some extramarital affairs. We've all been there.

Help save his marriage.... keep him out of office :P
By relationship agreement I was talking about the agree of the married people. Bill and his naughty intern weren't married. And I do find what Bill did was better... not because he's a guy on the left... but because he didn't cheat then divorce her... he stuck with it even after he made a marriage mistake (probably not his first and maybe not his last)... but Bill didn't end it when she was having a medical problem (which is a bad time to do it)
I'm not defending Clifton... what he did was wrong. So was what the other guy did.
Bill got a bj behind his wife back. Newt got bj, sex, new women behind his wives back when his wives had medical problems and did it twice... so they're both bad but yeah Newts is worse... and if you can't understand that your political blind or stupid.
Now show me where i said Clinton did not lie, in fact i called Clinton a cheating bastard, the only difference between Clinton and Newt is this. Clinton knows he is a cheating bastard, but Clinton did not try to impeach some one or get some thrown out of office for cheating, Newt did. That in make book makes him a cheating hypocritical fat bastard
