He even said he was going to cut medicare to pay for his worthless Obamacare. Then he turns it around and blames conservatives for not supporting these programs.

Just the fact that obama and the word "savings" are in the same sentence is hilarious to me.

There is no evidence that the scheme could reduce fraud and abuse considering that all the Kenyan Bastard has to offer is fraud and abuse.

    Wrong
According to the CBO, the payment cuts in Medicare include:
•A $260 billion payment cut for hospital services.
•A $39 billion payment cut for skilled nursing services.
•A $17 billion payment cut for hospice services.
•A $66 billion payment cut for home health services.
•A $33 billion payment cut for all other services.
•A $156 billion cut in payment rates in Medicare Advantage (MA); $156 billion is before considering interactions with other provisions. The House Ways and Means Committee was able to include interactions with other provisions, estimating the cuts to MA to be even higher, coming in at $308 billion.
•$56 billion in cuts for disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments.* DSH payments go to hospitals that serve a large number of low-income patients.
•$114 billion in other provisions pertaining to Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP* (does not include coverage-related provisions).

*Subtract $25 billion total between DSH payments and other provisions for spending that was cut from Medicaid and CHIP.

So you don't think there was any fraud and abuse in those services you described? And the cuts in DSH, those low-income patients can now go to a doctor's office for treatment and screenings instead of overcrowding ER's

Obama admitted in 2009 that Obamacare would indeed cut Medicare to supply a third of Obamacare’s funding. You can also argue with the liberal Washington Post, which details how Obamacare cuts $716 billion that otherwise would have gone to Medicare and diverts it to Obamacare. If you believe that government can eliminate waste, fraud and abuse simply by passing a law, then you’ve got a great deal of faith in government — and you’re probably going to vote for Obama. But as Charles Krauthammer might ask: If government has the power to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse by passing a law, why didn’t they pass that law a long time ago?

The Patient Protection & Affordable care Act, aka Obamacare, DID take $ from the Medicare 'fund' (which is REALLY NON-EXISTENT, but that's another argument) to fund Obama's signature 'achievement.' But, just on coverage terms, it's kinda '6 of one half a dozen of the other.' In my opinion Obamacare is an OVERREACH OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! Not a tax like the SCOTUS said.

That savings ... and intelligent people realize this... comes from revisions to costly Medicare Advantage programs and cutting out administrative and unnecessary testing hospital costs/ reimbursements. Ryan liked that so much, he included it in his own new Medicare plan. How many has he had now.. 20, 30, 100?

The new Ryan voucherized plan would shift Medicare from a system in which everyone gets the same set of benefits, paid for by tax funds, to one in which the government would give each senior citizen a fixed amount of money. He can spin it any way he wants, but the hard truth is his plan is indexed to inflation. Medical costs rise 3 times as fast... meaning seniors will be digging into their pockets. He also wants to revive the wildly expensive and wildly ineffective doughnut hole and raise elgilbility to age 67.

It's "savings" if Obama takes money out of the program.
It's "cuts" if republicans try to slow the rate of growth.
