Yes I think she did. She tried to use Native American ancestry to help her career. She used unsupported claims of Cherokee ancestry to futher her academic career at Harvard. Do we want another lier in Congress?

She was told she was part Native American and didn't believe she needed to prove it to herself. Granted, maybe she should have just said that to end this. I get the feeling nothing she would/could say would stop the relentless attacks though. You all love to make someone out to be guilty before proven innocent. If you want to pick on her for how she's handling it, fine. But to say she purposely deceived people and used it to get a job must be backed by proof, otherwise it is a lie or at the very least, a baseless accusation.
