He didn't "speak out against gay marriage." He was asked a question about his support for traditional marriage and he said that he did. Gay marriage was never brought up in the interview.

When you bring up the fact that you only support "traditional marriage" you are automatically commenting on gay marriage. It's just a nicer way of putting it. Everyone knows this, and if someone can't decipher that then they are either living under a rock or just flat out stupid.

When asked about supporting only families which involved one man and one woman he responded "Well, guilty as charged". His views are completely obvious. He may be playing coy, but he's entirely transparent.

He goes on to say "I think we are inviting god's judgement on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say 'we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage'." I mean COME ON. He did this on purpose, he worded it in a coy way so he could step back and say "Oh no! That's not what a meant!" when sh*t hit the fan. His point is very very clear. He just didn't have the balls to say it outright.

It is not. The entire quote makes it clear he was speaking of the model of relationship, referring to a two parent household. It is convenient that not one of those sources points that fact out.

Please, stop letting media sources choose your views, do your own research. The comment that everyone was freaking out about happened 2 months before anyone said a word as well. This had nothing to do with logic, truth, or marriage and everything to do with attacking a specific institution for their religious beliefs. If you want to support marriage equality, join me in educating people about why we should support it, stop attacking people and strengthening their cause, which is all this does.

No one chooses my views. Couldn't I say the same to you? Don't ASSume things about a person you don't know. If I wasn't on my phone there would be a giant *facepalm* riiiight.... Here.

    ---
Anyway, my views have been shaped though my instincts, my research, those around me, my teachers, monks I have studied with, my parents, my experiences and MUCH more. No one person single handedly decides there own views. They are shaped by hundreds of factors throughout our lives The media is one small source of a world of information I have been exposed to. Saying one specific thing chooses a person's views for them is both idiotic, shallow, and asinine.

I don't care what everyone was freaking out about. I'm talking about recent quotes. Quotes which a baboon could decipher which had a very clear motive behind them.

Who's attacking? Clarifying what he was talking about is not attacking anyone.

It worked didn't it. The homosexuals were not a part of their customer base so why not use the butt packers as a great way to get free advertising. 65% of this nation thinks being gay is wrong. It was fabulous to watch the reported lines of people supporting our first amendment today. Sorry Occupoo this is what a productive demonstration looks like.

So you think the 65% percent of society that report that homosexuality is wrong are overly religious?
Again what is racist about not accepting deviant behavior?
Normal behavior is defined by society, and homosexual behavior is not considered normal by society.

gay sex is normal for animals & since we are considered animals it would make it normal.....its also been around for over 4 billion years...

Homophobic, again what are they scared of, they are disgusted not fearful, time for an accurate use of language lesson for you.
You are judging a whole generation, that brought civil rights into society, as racist, based on the few you know? Wow seems a little infantile doesn't it. That is akin to me judging the whole of the gay agenda, by the filth gyrating at a gay pride parade.
Mammals are sexual opportunists, there is no preference. Any port in a storm. We are an elevated form of mammal, again with no predisposition to monogamy or sexual preference. We choose what gender we will have sex with. Hence deviant behavior.

you can't choose who you are attracted to...go have sex with men then??..report back what you find out....

Is it discrimination to not allow necrophilia? Is is discrimination to not allow pedophilia? Both are deviant sexual behaviors.
So you would kill all who opposed deviant behavior, that is a grand example of the tolerant left, now isn't it.
Why would I choose to have deviant sexual relations?

Again, I will type slowly so you can understand. There is no sexual predisposition in mammals, we are all sexual opportunists. You choose how you will behave, no one else chooses for you.
