D.H.S. Buys 750,000,000 Rounds of Hollow Point Ammo to Shoot"YOU? SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY !

The "terror," that is the US Gov't, continues to blanket
America. Using its protective
Big Brother, the Department of Homeland Security, DHS, its authoritarian power
grows in strength daily. It was reported this week that DHS is finishing the
purchase of 750 million rounds of ammo. Since DHS intends to distribute this
ammo, " at [DHS] facilities in the states of Georgia, New Mexico, Maryland and South Carolina, as well as other unnamed DHS
offices across the country", it
demands the question, which Americans are to be shot first?

Jason Reed, of Reuters, reports ( see
this link ) that this new,
additional arsenal, includes " ammunition [of] types, including 209,000
rounds of #00 buckshot 8-pellet bullets for 12 gauge guns, and more than 2
million shots for a .357 Sig Caliber."

These are bullets designed for one thing,
close quarter killing of human beings. American human beings. The #00
buckshot has no accuracy, but will cut a man in half at a distance of
less than twenty feet. The .357 shells are lead hollow point bullets that will
put a very large hole in a man from the same distance. Accuracy is up to the
shooter. DHS has surely covered that.

As Chris Hedges accurately points out in his
piece, this week, " Criminalizing Dissent" , that, "The very
name of the law itself -- the Homeland Battlefield Bill -- suggests the
totalitarian credo of endless war waged against enemies within "the
homeland." With DHS planning to distribute the ammo to "
unnamed DHS offices across the country, " it seems self- explanatory that
the "Battlefield" will soon be littered with Americans. Consider the
vague, and Imperial, definition of a terrorist. As quoted from the Hedges
article,

"The language of the
bill is terrifyingly vague. It defines a "covered person" -- one
subject to detention -- as "a person who was a part of or substantially
supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated
forces that are engaged in
hostilities against the United States or its coalition
partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has
directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces." The
bill, however, does not define the terms "substantially supported,"
"directly supported" or "associated forces." ( see link here )

The two recent police shootings, just
one day apart, by Anaheim, CA police, of defenseless civilians ( one who was
shot in the back of the head while running away) clearly show why we must fear
our Gov't. By all reports these two citizens were gunned down in cold blood
yet, when the Anaheim community rose up in
peaceful protest, all hell broke loose. The brutal way Anaheim police forcefully,
and without provocation, stomped the peaceful mass protest that ensued into
submission, aided, of course, by DHS and the armored vehicle they supplied
these cops, show that our new authoritarian democracy has no reservations about
using its new toys on a peaceful American public. Additionally, uniformed
national guard were brought into Anaheim, by DHS, to bolster
the stomping of the First Amendment.

With the cops emboldened to the point of
routine violence, next deliberately given, by our congress, a definition of
"terrorist" that includes any civil protest, or dissent, by
Americans, and now armed to the teeth with the same weaponry Israel is using to
quash its own citizens, how long will it be before the next American is the
victim of summary military execution?

By all indications it will not be long.

Get on your feet Americans. It is time!

Homeland Security finishing acquisition
of millions of rounds of high-powered ammo

The Department of Homeland Security is rushing
to finish the acquisition of 750 million rounds of high-power ammunition that
has already raised many eyebrows. In one week, the DHS should start expecting
an arsenal that will make some armies jealous.

The DHS has updated a
solicitation originally posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website
earlier this year, now answering questions from prospective contractors about
an inquiry the agency published back in April. All responses to the DHS'
request for hundreds of millions of rounds of high-power ammunition must still
be sent in by August 20, but now the federal agency designated to thwart
terrorism on the home front has answered some questions about what exactly they
are looking for in terms of being able to blow stuff up.

In April, the DHS first published
a solicitation "for
commercial leaded training ammunition (CLTA) of various calibers for law
enforcement officer firearms training courses" to be used at facilities in the
states of Georgia, New Mexico, Maryland and South Carolina, as well as other
unnamed DHS offices across the country. At the time the DHS demanded hundreds
of thousands of test rounds for an array of ammunition types, including 209,000
rounds of #00 buckshot 8-pellet bullets for 12 gauge guns and more than 2
million shots for a .357 Sig Caliber. With their solicitation set to expire in
less than a week, though, the DHS has taken it upon themselves to answer
questions from contractors interested in their very pricey proposal.

In the latest amendment, published online
over the weekend, the DHS answers such pressing questions as, say, "Would
a 223 Rem 64Grain soft point round be acceptable?" in response to their initial request
for 1.1 million rounds of .223 Rem Caliber 62.64 Grain JHP. (And, if you're
wondering, the official DHS-authored answer is, "Yes, that would be
acceptable.")

The DHS does not, however, answer why exactly
they want to give its federal agents tasked with counterterrorism around 750
million rounds of ammo. On paper the proposal says their request is to fulfill
training exercise requirements, but why is the DHS equipping their officers
with the know-how to shoot a basketball-size hole in a human body?

And for those not keeping score, already this
year the DHS has asked for upwards of 150 sets of full-body armor specifically
to prepare law enforcement for any protests at the 2012 Democratic and
Republican National Conventions, the 2013 Presidential Inauguration and other
events of national significance. Oh, and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano has
admitted that she wants the agency to accumulate more surveillance drones to
conduct domestic surveillance for the sake of "public
safety."

But don't worry: millions of rounds of
high-powered ammo, stealth surveillance craft and an army of heavily armored
federal agents is all for your own security.

According to the 2001 Executive Order that
established the DHS signed by then-President George W Bush, the agency
"will coordinate the executive branch's efforts to detect, prepare for,
prevent, protect against, respond to and recover from terrorist attacks within
the United States."

Is the government preparing for civil unrest by amassing stockpiles of ammunition purchased through various government agencies such as the National Weather Service to complement purchases made through the Department of Homeland Security?

A solicitation appearing on the FedBizOps website asks for delivery of 46,000 rounds of .40 S&W; JHP to the National Weather Service in various locations on the East Coast along with a request for 500 paper targets. This follows a previous DHS purchase of 450 million rounds of .40 hollow point ammunition back in March. It should be noted that hollow point ammunition has been "illegal in international warfare since 1899." Apparently, its use is approved against the citizens of one's own country. Either the government is preparing for massive civil unrest stemming from a possible economic collapse, or the Obama Administration is preparing its own version of a November surprise in the eventuality that the election doesn't go their way. Hey, they don't call the Obama Administration a bunch of Chicago street thugs for nothing. I'm just saying.

Social Security Administration orders thousands of rounds of hollow point bullets

he mission statement of the US Social Security Administration is to deliver services that meet the changing needs of the public. They are doing that by placing an order for 174,000 rounds of hollow point bullets.

The SSA has published a solicitation on the FedBizOpps website specifically asking for ammo manufactures to provide them with a quote for a massive order of hollow point bullets. The administration is on the lookout for the most affordable lot of 174,000 .357 Duty Carry Sig 125 grain bonded JHP hollow point bullet ammunition, according to a synopsis that accompanies their solicitation for quotes, although the mission statement of the federal agency offers no indication of why they are wanting any ammo, let alone tens of thousands of rounds.

According to Chuck Hawks, who runs a guns and shooting website, these bullets are among the best available in terms of being a stop a person dead in their tracks.

“[A]125 grain JHP from a .357 in the lungs will put the bad guy away pronto, and if you miss the lungs and hit the shoulder, the 125 grain JHP will dump up to 580 ft. lbs. of destructive energy into his body, instead of the maximum 236 ft. lbs. of the 200 grain .38 Spec. load,” Hawk writes on his website. He adds that the JHP rounds being requested by the Social Security Administration is accurate in stopping someone upwards of 97 percent of the time.

Online retailer UnderwoodAmmo.com adds that the hollow point bullets are “Built to the tightest tolerances for peak performance rivaling and sometimes surpassing handloads in many guns” and that the ammunition was “designed to meet stringent law enforcement standards for dependability and performance” and makes for “a great personal defense bullet.”

For an agency that specializes in servicing the needy, though, the requirement of such firepower is raising a lot of questions. It doesn’t make things less suspicious another federal agency, the US Department of Homeland Security, recently posted a solicitation on FedBizOpps as well for 750 million rounds of high-power ammo.

Among the acknowledged capacities of the SSA are providing assistance to the retired and disabled through Medicare and other benefit programs.

“The SSA touches more lives than any other Federal agency,” the office’s Inspector General writes in a 2008 document available on SSA.Gov. “SSA delivers cash benefits to almost 50 million beneficiaries each month,” the document continues, adding, “SSA’s program account for more than 25 percent of all Federal dollars disbursed and almost 30 percent of all dollars collected.”

They also release annually a list of the most popular baby names for US children each calendar year.

According to the documents included with the SSA’s online request for quotes, a large number of the ammo will be sent to an office in Baltimore, Maryland, where the administration’s Criminal Investigation Division is headquartered. That section of the SSA is responsible for serving as a liaison with other law enforcement agencies, among other duties.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) confirms that it is purchasing 174 thousand rounds of hollow point bullets to be delivered to 41 locations in major cities across the U.S. No one has yet said what the purpose of these purchases is, though we are led to believe that they will be used only in an emergency to counteract and control civil unrest. Those against whom the hollow point bullets are to be used — those causing the civil unrest — must be American citizens; since the SSA has never been used overseas to help foreign countries maintain control of their citizens.

What would be the target of these 174, 000 rounds of hollow point bullets? It can’t simply be to control demonstrators or rioters. Hollow point bullets are so lethal that the Geneva Convention does not allow their use on the battle field in time of war. Hollow point bullets don’t just stop or hurt people, they penetrate the body, spread out, fragment and cause maximum damage to the body’s organs. Death often follows.

Potentially each hollow nose bullet represents a dead American. If so, why would the U.S. government want the SSA to kill 174,000 of our citizens, even during a time of civil unrest? Or is the purpose to kill 174,000 of the nation’s military and replace them with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) special security forces, forces loyal to the Administration, not to the Constitution?

All my life I’ve handled firearms. When a young boy growing up on my father’s farm in Pennsylvania Dad’s first rule of firearms training was, “Never point a gun at someone, in fun or otherwise, unless you intend to shoot them. If you shoot someone, shoot to kill.” I’ve never forgotten his admonition. It stayed with me through my Boy Scout training, when I enlisted in the army as a Private to fight in the Korea
War, during my days as a Ranger and Paratrooper and throughout my thirty-four year military career.

If this were only a one time order of ammunition, it could easily be dismissed. But there is a pattern here. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has ordered 46,000 rounds of hollow point ammunition. Notice that all of these purchases are for the lethal hollow nose bullets. These bullets are not being purchased and stored for squirrel or coyote hunting. This is serious ammunition manufactured to be used for serious purposes.

In the war in Iraq, our military forces expended approximately 70 million rounds per year. In March DHS ordered 750 million rounds of hollow point ammunition. It then turned around and ordered an additional 750 million rounds of miscellaneous bullets including some that are capable of penetrating walls. This is enough ammunition to empty five rounds into the body of every living American citizen. Is this something we and the Congress should be concerned about? What’s the plan that requires so many dead Americans, even during times of civil unrest? Has Congress and the Administration vetted the plan in public.

I fear that Congress won’t take these ammunition purchases seriously until they are all led from Capitol Hill in handcuffs. Why buy all this ammunition unless you plan to use it. Unknown to Congress, Does DHS plan to declare war on some country? Shouldn’t Congress hold hearings on why the Administration is stockpiling this ammunition all across the nation? How will it be used; what are the Administration’s plans?

Obama is a deadly serious, persistent man. Once he focuses on an object, he pursues it to the end. What is his focus here? All of these rounds of ammunition can only be used to kill American citizens, though there is enough ammunition being ordered to kill, in addition to every American citizen, also every Iranian, Syrian or Mexican. There is simply too much of it. And this much ammunition can’t be just for training, there aren’t that many weapons and “shooters” in the U.S. to fire it. Perhaps it is to be used to arm illegal immigrants?

We have enough military forces to maintain law and order in the U.S. even during times of civil unrest.

We have local police, backed up by each state’s National Guard, backed up by the Department of Defense. So in addition to all these forces why does DHS need its own private army? Why do the SSA, NOAA and other government agencies need to create their own civilian security forces armed with hollow nose bullets?

Were I the JCS, and if I wasn’t already fully briefed on this matter, I’d stop the purchase of hollow point bullets, ask the secretary of Defense why all this ammunition is being purchased and spread around the country? If I got answers like the ones Congress got during the investigation of Operation Fast and Furious – I’d start tracking all ammunition deliveries nationwide to find out what organizations and units are using them, for what purpose and, if it is not constitutional, prepare to counteract whatever it is that they are doing.

This is a deadly serious business. I hope I’m wrong, but something smells rotten. And If the Congress isn’t going to do its duty and investigate this matter fully, the military will have to protect the Constitution, the nation, and our citizens.

The system will stop at nothing to disarm the American people! Somebody out there has decided that the Department of Homeland Security needs a whole lot of ammunition. Recently it was announced that ATK was awarded a contract to provide up to 450 MILLION hollow point bullets to the Department of Homeland Security over the next five years.

Is it just me, or does that sound incredibly excessive? What in the world is the DHS going to do with 450 million rounds? What possible event would ever require that much ammunition? If the United States was ever invaded, it would be the job of the U.S. military to defend the country, so that can't be it. So what are all of those bullets for? Who does the Department of Homeland Security plan to be shooting at? According to the U.S. Census, there are only about 311 million people living in the entire country. So why does the Department of Homeland Security need 450 million rounds of ammunition? Either this is an incredible waste or there is something that the Department of Homeland Security is not telling us.

I could understand if the U.S. military was ordering ammunition in this quantity. When you fight wars you can go through ammunition very rapidly.

But the Department of Homeland Security is only supposed to be shooting at people very rarely.

It simply does not make sense that they would need so much ammunition.
