Despite entreaties by the White House to Boehner not to do it, Boehner charges FORWARD with contempt charges against Holder. Is this a better variety of "forward" progress than the type Obama has been giving us?

anything is better than what barry's been givin' us. But to say that Boehner "charges" forward............... From my understanding he's been dragged to it kicking and screaming all the way. I could be wrong. He may yet find an out for doing this. I mean he's caved on everything else........

Well, until I read the fine print, I figured this was a good way to actually get the truth. But since Holder would have to appoint a special counsel to investigate himself and obama's duplicity, it makes little sense.

They came forth with 40 something documents and said if you don't charge Holder we'll give you these. We are talking about hundreds and hundreds of pages that have been subpoenaed and they want to only give 40? Isn't that Holder and the White House being contemptuous of Congress?

About 170,000 pages total that the Congress knows exist, but cannot get their hands on.

    How about that Transparency obiewandecommie.

I do question that number of pages. That'd take a whole jungle-full of monkeys decades to type! LOL

Fine, but government is not going to spank itself, so how does this get accomplished? For 234 years we've been "voting" and watching it get worse and worse. Vote 2012 is already being prepared to bring us more of the same. So what's the PLAN?

But don't be fooled. Boehner is a rino fake crier and nothing will come from this. This is yet more of the blame game to make people feel someone cares about them. Meanwhile, the rape and pillage of America continues.

I agree but nothing will come from this. We The People should have beaten down the doors of congress decades ago.

Yes it is. But I have no faith in Boehner either. I honestly think if he could have gotten out of this he would have. But public opinion is so strong he is begrudgingly agreeing.

When B O said he was involved in the coverup,( By involking exec privelage.) he too should be investigated, why he wanted guns going to the cartels, why he wants, Mexicans and Americans to be killed.

could it be where BO is getting the illegal drugs he was so fond of in his teens. and perhaps today?

Thing should move forward toward Contempt charges, Holder has done everything in his power to deserve to be held in contempt. Obama's use of Executive Privilege proves to me he's involved too and both Holder and Obama should be arrested and charged in the murder of Terry.

While I agree, wouldn't it be quite a stretch legally to make a murder charge stick?

Accessory before and after the fact, not the murder itself. That would work.

Murder conspiracy faces the same penalty as the actual murderer. I know two guys in prison both doing life sentences, one the trigger man, the other accused of being an accomplice [I think he was said to have obtained the gun for the murderer].
