DESPERATE OBAMA CAMPAIGN NOW DEPENDING ON….BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY?
OK, I have to rag on Bill Nye the unfunky Science Guy over this. Here’s what he said at one of the campaign stops:
“This is the most important election of my life and I believe we’re at a crossroads, a turning point. We can either move forward, especially in education, or backward. I think voters have a clear choice, so I’m supporting the president.”
Yeah, Bill, let’s continue to give more money to the Department of Education and corrupt teachers unions and see no positive results! Obama has certainly knocked it out of the park on improving education. To believe Obama has bettered education…he continues to oppose school vouchers for low income students who want better than what their pathetic public schools offer…you’d have to be gullible to also believe in Global Warming. Bow tie optional.
Obama better get a few more in the on-deck circle! Don’t know if Bill Nye’s going to turn out the vote.

When a cabal of big-government-vested-interests who have been caught red-handed massaging said data is at the helm of the [heavy on the quote-unquote] “science”, only the most credulous and naïve amongst us could possibly accept their results without question.
And, of course, atmospheric science is murky, at best. I.e., there are competing claims as to what long-term global temperature trends are doing. So any fair-minded person would remain open to the distinct fact that the science is far from effing settled.
Regardless, whether the earth is warming or cooling is almost trivial—for the earth is constantly either warming or cooling to some degree. (Hence the leftists tried, briefly, to change the language to “global climate change”—but apparently that was a bit too transparent to the suckers of their ruse, as it seems to have been scrapped.)

2. Anthropogenic Global Warming
The real question leftists are asking when they confront free-thinkers with the idiotically obtuse, “Do you believe in global warming?” is “Do you believe in anthropogenic global warming” (“AGW”)—i.e., do you not only believe that the earth is on a long-term warming trend, but do you also believe humanity is causing this rise in temperature?
This all stems from the fact that carbon dioxide is a “greenhouse gas” in that it traps heat. The world’s population is releasing more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than ever before (thanks to the West’s scientific brilliance, mind you), ergo, we’re turning the globe into a giant greenhouse.
Q.E.D.
Or so goes the theory. But supporting evidence (you know—the stuff that makes science what it is)? Not so much.
But if the earth is on a long-term warming trend, and it’s not man-released carbon dioxide causing it, then what could be the underlying cause?
One answer is: Who the *@$! knows? Fluid dynamics of the Atlantic conveyor maybe? The earth’s axial precession? A ginormous combination of factors beyond the reach of any model we currently have constructed?
Perhaps. My opinion, for what it’s worth, is that the key factor driving the earth’s climate change is the sun.
As has been widely reported, we’ve got the hottest half-a-year on record here in the United States. Less widely reported (to put it generously)? This is the year of “peak solar activity.” Go figure.
Remember those ice shelves melting off Greenland and Antarctica? Well, they’re also melting off of other planets in our solar system.
Call me crazy, but I’d say the biggest driver of global climate change is that giant ball of fire 93 million miles away, and not me having a steak for dinner (cow farts and all).
It’s almost like the anthropogenic global warming alarmists have a hidden agenda or something. Hmm…
3. Global Governance and [Ever-More] White-to-Brown Wealth Transfer
Shrill, panty-wetting, obnoxious, importunate, condescending, smug—these adjectives only begin to describe your typical leftist, and rarely more so than when it comes to AGW hysterics. And, as usual, what’s behind these infantile exhibitions? The same thing that was behind the Communists’ ambitions: global hegemony. (Geez—it’s almost like they’re reading from the same book or something.)
I.e., implied in the “do you believe in global warming” trap of a question is a false choice: Either you’re a loon who denies “science”, or you accept the fact that the UN must commandeer the United States, suppress our economic activity—which generates all this noxious CO2—and give our money away to Africa and South America (and India perhaps).
