Democrats ask Alvin Green the underdog victor in the SC Democratic Primary to step down, is racism their motive?

I'm not going to say it was out of racism they want him to step down, but I've said it already. He is going to make for an interesting candidate, and SC will have an interesting year.

I certainly do hope he really is an anti-establishment candidate that wins the general election, that'll be one hell of a day for SC.

I have heard him on the radio and am totally unimpressed.
He still can't be any worse than half the people already in congress.
If he can win the primary without campaigning he may actually win in November.

I'm not impressed by what I've heard from him either... however, the controversies are making him an interesting candidate.

I would laugh for a week if he won the general election without any support from the democratic party. Clear proof that voters will accept a candidate, regardless of race, who does not hate America.

Th reason Alvin Green is under fire is mainly because he cannot account for how he got where he is. Democrats are committing no great act of racism in asking him to step down, as much as conservatives would like to paint it that way.

He refuses to answer questions relating to a felony charge, or to how he funded his campaign despite being unemployed. Regardless of that, there is not a shred of evidence suggesting he even RAN a campaign, which if true (it's true) would be the real problem.

It's a problem for you neocons too, because if Green can pull off an upset like this in the primary he could certainly do it against DeMint. That is, of course, unless he's in your corner.

That's a big no,no and it's usurping the establishment. It happens on the right as well so let it be known it isn't a one party issue.

They are criticizing him because he was allegedly charged, but never convicted of a felony. If he wins, he will be among a lot of felons who have not been charged. He should fit in well.

He should fit right in with them.

When you apply their own definitions to them which they apply to those opposed to Obama... yeah, they are racists.

But also look at Artur Davis whom the NAACP and many on the political left opposed in Alabama's Democratic runoff for Governor in favor of the white Liberal Democrat opposing him. You want to know why Democrats lost Alabama? Anyone in their political party who doesn't abide by the rules the Liberals set... won't win the election. The times haven't changed nor have the Democrats... they just learned to tell people what they want to hear and when a black political candidate steps out of line or supports some of the oppositions ideals... they become expendable. A black political candidate is no more a token than what they claim about the Republicans and the real Uncle Toms are the one's who tow the Democrat line to retain their political power.

Mr. Greene happens to be under felony charges for showing porno to a college student and some other similar improprieties - that were not brought to light until after he won. . . . I posted the story on my FB Wall yesterday....

But he was not convicted. He is eligible to run - why are they hell bent on getting rid of this man who won fair and square? What is their real motive ???

He didn't win their way so they will use anything they can find to get him off the ballot.
They could care less that he had a felony charge, except as a tool to force him off the ballot.

If he he was not convicted of any crime i don't know if they can keep his name off the ballot since he did win the Primary....low morals are not grounds for disqualification or there would be many other out of office or out of the running.
