It's easy, when someone, within the party, acts like a d-bag people they say things like this within a 24 hour period. They also acknowledge that someone, representing their party, acted like an idiot and said they should apologize:

- Jim Messina “I could not disagree with Hilary Rosen any more strongly. Her comments were wrong and family should be off limits. She should apologize."

- David Axelrod? “Also Disappointed in Hilary Rosen’s comments about Ann Romney. They were inappropriate and offensive,"

- Obama "There is no tougher job than being a mom,”, “Anybody who would argue otherwise, I think, probably needs to rethink their statement.”

Sort of like when Rush called Fluke a "slut" a "prostitute" and suggested that she post videos of her sexual acts online.... I think it took a couple of days for someone to say"It's not the words that I would have used"... kind of begs the question, How do they live with themselves?

i did not see anything wrong in rosen's statement. i did not see it as a personal attack on ann romney, she simply pointed out, that ann romney's motherhood struggles barely can be compared to that of a regular working mom.
ann did not have to juggle full time, often low paid work, overtime, maybe even second or third job, run kids to and from daycare, come home to take care.
i bet that ann romney had housekeepers, nannies, butlers, cooks.... and if not, she could easily afford them...

Certainly your allowed your opinion and I'd hardly criticize you for it. My personal view is that;

- Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before judging them - yes, I got it. Ann Romney has money, so who cares? Who is Rosen to make any judgements about a woman she has never met and knows very little about? She makes a judgement based on one thing only (money) then feels free to label Ann's abilities and experience's and qualifications. While you might "bet that ann romney had housekeepers, nannies, butlers, cooks" should you make a statement based on what you assume?

- Ann Romney is not a political figure running for office. If Rosen wants to comment on someone, feel free to comment on them if they're running for office, leave their spouse, kids, family out of it.

i can see your point, i just did non see it as a mudslinging attempt.

i don't know the specifics of their lives yet, and she might be a most industrious person, but from my own experiense, it is so much easier, when person has wealth.

they do not have to live with noisy next door nieghbors, while having to wake up 4 am. they can afford the most nutritional, healthy foods, and all the aforementioned perks,..

The White House and its designated hatchet woman Hillary Rosen have shown their real attitudes about women by suggesting that women who stay at home and take care of their children are lazy and have do not have to do any work. They further suggest that Ann Romney and "stay at home moms" do not have any valid opinions on economic issues and do not understand the struggles that women go through every day. Anne Romney, who has suffered from Multiple Sclerosis and Breast cancer, has raised 5 children and has been a homemaker, but apparantly the Democrats think she is too stupid and lazy to have her views be respected by anybody. The liberal Democrats have declared war on women! Hillary Rosen has become the Reverend Jeremiah Wright of 2012! Congratulations, Mr. President! You sure know how to associate with the right people. When can we expect to hear from Bill Ayers?
