unreal. So now our troops gotta pay more for going to war and being shot at and going thru hell? Can't even come home affordable any more? Thanks delta and I promise I won't fly delta anymore! Our troops have enough problems to deal with. Delta should charge the government for any extra cost. What a disgrace to delta.

I think I have to agree. Just leave the bags at the Delta counter and let them deal with returning them to the military. That would almost gaurantee Delta would waive their fees.

The soldiers sacrifice their lives for the sake of this country yet Delta could not adhere to what was right, which was, considering not charging them.

This is in poor taste Delta. Those soldiers are fighting terrorism. After 9/11, you would think the airlines would be a bit more compassionate and understanding to our military. Let's not forget appreciative.
