The graffiti also included profanity about Jesus, and a number of cars close to the church had their tyres slashed.
Two weeks ago, similar graffiti was daubed on the 11th-century Monastery of the Cross also located in west Jerusalem but no suspects have yet been apprehended
Similar acts of vandalism named as 'Price Tag' attacks because of the word choice used in Hebrew have been made against Jewish- Arab schools, mosques, Palestinian homes and Israeli army bases located in the West Bank.
Ynet reported in the past that "two prominent religious Zionism rabbis" strongly condemned the "price tag" acts of violence and vandalism known to be carried out by extreme right-wing activists; they requested Jewish settlers in the West bank "to turn in the criminals to the army."
