You are thinking of a cheap Chinese knock off of a cheap Chinese product called the hug me pillow. That is just a stuffed pillow for around 30 bucks.

My son just returned from a vacation in Bermuda. He bought two coffee mugs for his Dad and me. They are very pretty but they were made in China NOT Bermuda. So this is going on everywhere. It's cheap labor, cheap prices and they don't give a damn who they hurt or kill.
