DC Sniper John Allen Muhammad To Be Executed

- The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to block Tuesday's scheduled execution of sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad. The Court did not comment Monday on why it refused to consider his appeal. Muhammad is scheduled to die by injection at a Virginia prison for the slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a gas station during a three-week spree... Read full article »

I'm just glad this mad man is paying his debt to society. I believe in our court system, it has its faults but they definitely got this one correct. Where are the bleeding heart liberals? I haven't heard from Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson yet either.

Lethal injection is far to easy...this bastard should be drawn and quartered - real slow so the pain sets in and when the body becomes numb, you end it.

I think he deserves to die for what he did. If he has family I feel sorry for them. Killers needs to know there is a price for killing people and he killed many. I hope he has sought forgiveness from God.

    Good.

Can he get to be executed with a firing squad instead? Tie him to a post and let the family members take shots at him from the car he used to kill their loved ones.

Not all the family members are good shots? They get to go first.

What the heck was he expecting?? Everyone to just shrug their collective shoulders and go, "Oh well..." and just pat him on the head and write it off? PUH-LEEZE! I'm getting damn sick and tired of these little yips thinking they can just do anthing they want any time they want!

Wonderful! His execution will coincide with my drinking a very dry, shaken not stirred, martini and after it is announced that the POS is dead I'll have one more in celebration of the excellent news.

His attorney pulled out the ever popular "mentally ill" defense (a little too late). I suppose you'd have to be to do what he did. Nevertheless, he's guilty so he should face his punishment.

It is kind of disturbing to see so many comments about his religion -- if he even had one -- as if that was the motivating force behind his actions. This was not an extremist anything. This was a killer on a killing spree, and he knew nothing of his victims, only that they were within his range.

He is known as a serial killer. Ted Bundy was also a serial killer. What was his religion? So was Jack the Ripper? What was his faith? If it is relevant in one case, it must be relevant in all of them. That will come as a surprise to law enforcement profilers.

You don't exactly take the high road in your eloquence, or in your racist comments.

I like the fact that he is being executed - his Muslim "faith" and his last name of Muhammad accompanying his being executed is, in my view, simply icing on the cake, so to speak. One less of them makes for great fun so far as I'm concerned.

I am not an advocate of the death penalty, but I must admit if anyone deserves it, Muhammad does. I don't understand your glee over his religion, and I have not heard what his religion had to do with the killings, or even if he is a religious man.

I don't think you read the article.

Evil is the religion he practiced and he was consumed by it. Religiosity, especially amongst those professing Islamic believes, worship and practice (whether or not religiously practiced) is according to God's inerrant and wholly inspired Word is not only a stench in His nostrils but a plague upon humanity - just that simple.

Unlike dimlibbers (dim-witted liberals of every shade - be they dems, progressives or so-called moderates) I very much favor the death penalty and for more than just the "glee" I have in such scum as John Allen Muhammad executed but I like the fun of thinking about the fact that taxpayers will no longer have to pay $42,000.00 per year to house, feed, clothe, and guard him, not to mention pay his Court-appointed lawyers.

Frankly, I don't know what, if anything, his being Muslim had to do directly with his murdering people for no reason but his evil (the heart of his personal religion) played a very vicious role in the death of persons he had no knowledge of . And further, were you inclined to read as opposed to spew, he intended to use the money to set up a terrorist training camp in Canada - very much part of his Muslim religious agenda. That in and of itself is reason enough to deep six the bastard.
