It's funny how he goes into great lengths to show the problem is the financiers . . . but the title implies the fault lies in capitalism. He shows how capitalism is wealth and job producing . . . even extols it for increasing the economy. It's the banks that are the problem. So the crisis is not capitalism . . . it's the financial institutions.
Why is this titled incorrectly? And who titled this video? Certainly not him. He admits he doesn't know what the solution is.
it's his lecture, he came up with the title, and the purpose wasn't to offer a solution, but to highlight an increasingly alarming problem with the capitalism in it's current global form.
did i piss you off so much you had to trawl through my questions?
It's bigger than all of us, and out of control. Self-perpetuating.
HAL is running everything now: and we didn't even need to go into space to make it happen.
Interesting video. Thanks. Problem is: although we most of us are aware of the financial manipulations which are leading us toward a two-class system, those with power (money) and those who believe they will be powerful (rich) some day ignore and supress information and activity which would bring the economy into balance. The number of comments you received is a great example!!
Well if it turns out to happen I pack up and move on. But yes its crucial right now and I am already planning to move on cause the signs are there and they are strong signs. Now dont get me wrong but I dont waste my life on such crap and rather look out for myself and my son. I dont see any way to stop these ppl from doing what they are doing.
change the game we all play, right now we have the technology and the capability, to create an abundance on this earth, we don't because there is no profit in doing so, if we remove the profit incentive, the only incentive left is necessity. people NEED clean food and water, we don't need gold plated toilet seats, or 12 mpg SUVs. simples
The ones who have the power in the world dont care about upright opinions and rather show of BIG. There is no need to waste your time with these ppl and all you can do is NOT working for them or in their favor. Just let them eat their golden toilet seats.

What an ugly attitude to take.
btw Bankers is one answer, he gives 4 very expansive reasons for the current crises.
The extreme concentration of wealth into fewer and fewer hands is possibly the biggest problem facing humanity.
