Cowardly EPA Thumbs Nose At Private Citizen,Hides Behind Bureaucracy?
Since the end of May,we’ve been following the story of Larry Keller and his dealings with the bloated, out of control Environmental Protection Agency. What started with a simple one sentence email,in response to an average bureaucrat doing what average big government bureaucrats do,turned into an eye-opening odyssey that I’m sure Mr. Keller will not soon forget. I know I won’t.
If you’re not familiar with the story,I urge you to visit these other posts I’ve written about Mr. Keller’s plight with the EPA. The whole story is sordid, disgusting, and is a glaring example of what is wrong with big,out of control government. Unfortunately, this story, amazingly, has gone largely unnoticed.
Believe me when I tell you that I use the word unnoticed with a fair amount of incredulity. When I first heard Mr. Keller’s story on my local talk radio show (Pete Kaliner),I was shocked when I came home, googled Larry’s name along with EPA,and found virtually nothing except for a post on a local Tea Party website.
But now what? Mr. Larry Keller is no longer a North Carolina resident. He has sold his home and has relocated to Atlanta. Forgive me, but I don’t know if his relocation had anything to do with his fight with the EPA or if it was something in the works before the events of May 2, 2012.
The subject of the now infamous email, Dr. Al Armendariz, left the EPA after his “crucify” comments came to light, and he is now able to openly advocate for his leftist agenda at, of all places, The Sierra Club.

As far as the EPA is concerned, they are still free to harass private individuals who dare to speak up. After basically accusing Mr. Keller of a crime without any facts whatsoever, after wasting who knows how many taxpayer dollars, and after sidestepping the issue at every turn, the EPA sent Mr. Keller one more letter telling him essentially that his case was closed, and they didn’t want to be bothered with him anymore. Below, you’ll find the condescending letter in which the EPA basically tells Larry Keller to pound sand.
