Could you imagine if a "white" foundation was created for this purpose? Let's further separate the races.

Providing an Equal Opportunity
for All Missing

Message from President/CEO (Derrica Wilson)

"For many years, the minority community has been a severely underserved portion of the population in the media mainstream when it comes to missing persons. BAM's mission is to ensure that missing persons of color receive the exposure needed to be reunited with their loved ones. We are dedicated to getting these cases to the media mainstream by "BECOMING THE VOICE FOR THE MISSING!"

http://www.blackandmissinginc.com/cdad/

Is this even legal in today's society?
How about if we create a foundation to ONLY help missing white children?

You!

I think that, at one time, there was a need for such organizations... but, I believe that they have gone from one extreme to the other... now, it seems it's okay to have Hispanic groups, Black group, and other such ethnic groups.... those aren't racist even though they are serving one race/ethnic group... yet, it would be illegal to have any "White" group... that would be racist... that would cause a hell of an uproar...

I'm not racist at all... but, the facts are the facts....I wish this world would stop segregating in any form or fashion, against any race/ethnic group... as well as against any group whatsoever... even against gender/gender preference/sexuality preference...

It shouldn't matter about getting the story out to the media. It should matter whether or not the police do their job correctly. This website is irrelevant. If the police do their job, then who cares. Everyone on the missing persons list has an equal opportunity anyways.

I have said many times over now that "AFFIRMATIVE ACTION" in any form for any reason is a solution that creates as many if not more problems than it solves. While any effort or efforts to re-unite missing children is a welcome action, these efforts should not be precursor by post corrosive emotion.

A child of any color should not factor in to the equation except for identifying what the child looks like. But to place a value of importance is just wrong and only serves to divide the races and society of which we all are a part of.

Here is a question that I would pose to those that do not see the harm of this kind of separatism. Less say you are building a flat screen TV, what would you consider to be the most important part of your project...? would it be your circuit board, or the capacitor on the mother board, the power pact, the screen, the converter.., or any of the many other necessary parts.

Here is the operative words, "NECESSARY PART", we are all necessarily important, and as a society unless we acknowledge this reality, just like the flat screen TV, if we leave out any one of the necessary parts it just is not going to function properly. We are all plugged into our society race wise in a way that makes all of us dependent upon each other. no matter how much any on...

So if we are to look at ourselves as that flat screen TV I mentioned earlier, We are all equally important parts, and unless we allow for this consideration, when we push the "ON BUTTON" we will not be able to see a clear picture if we are able to see a picture at all...JOMO

I can tell this one got under your skin just by the your choice of words to express you emotion about this topic. But haven said that, this is what I have alluded to in some of my past posting where some of the people here on SH could not just post their opinion without attaching a racial connotation to it.

And when that is the case it can only become more apparent when it applies to the most vulnerable. For people like this, there is no boundaries, they have a come one come all, if you do not have the same skin color you should not be included. This mentality is very ramped here on SH as it is across America, this is not a behavior anyone has to go looking for. It is really sad that in 2012 out of all of America's achievements we are still stuck on stupid where race is concern...JOMO

I have been involved with groups who internationally fight exploitation of women and children most of whom would classify as "minorities" in the U.S. Never once have I seen somebody separate them into color or race. Yes, there are certain problems among different ethnic groups but they are all worked on as diligently as the next and we all become color blind on this issue as a whole.

To be honest L, this even makes myself, who has many friends of many races look at blacks, as a whole, in a totally different light and it ain't good. This is just plain ol' wrong!! They are discriminating against missing Caucasian, Latino, Asian, American Indian and a whole host of other children. They are RACIST!!! I'm beginning to see that racist black people, of which there are many, need a rude awaking. This has put me over the edge!!

Well first The Gov..I will say this to you...even though it may appear that there are many blacks that feel the way you seem to find a problem with, they do not represent the majority of blacks. Second..., I will admit that there are enough blacks that feel in a prejudice way to matter. Third, this is a point that I have made on several occasions, that blacks are one of the most racist people on this planet.

Now I know this sounds a bit contradictory, but, understand when I say this I am referencing the blacks that are in fact racist. I too as a black man take issue with this racist mentality. Mostly because it is a mentality that ensures the stagnated approach to their future. If I as a black man were to walk through the neighborhood they live in, it is as if I stepped back in time. So you need to understand that what you are observing on the surface as racism is more a symptom of a much bigger issue motivating these people.

Now for the record, when I say these people it is not intended to be demeaning in any way. But at the same time, I do make it an intentional effort to distinguish myself from them in lifestyle and mind set. And please know that I am in no way excusing their mind set. Rather..., I am simply pointing out a simple observation from a black mans perspective. Bot...

Bottom line, there is a much bigger problem going on with these people that is driving this continuous way of thinking. I am as frustrated as you or anyone else at this kind of behavior.

For a black man or a black person period to speak out against blacks that are guilty of this behavior, they are considered as a sale out. Well.., I prefer to think of myself as a sale on.., I refuse to stand fast in the backward way of thinking that promote hatred, bigotry, and just plain down stupidity. So..., The Gov. I suggest you not look at all blacks the same way. Because even some of us blacks have a problem navigating through the mind field of stagnant minded members of our race. JOMO

    L,

Do not confuse "as a whole" with "all". Let's face it, the majority, which would be over 50%, do think and act in that fashion. In my opinion, you can thank liberalism and the Democratic Party for that.

Well The Gov. I'm afraid I will have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. I'm black as you know, and I tend to be around blacks a lot more than you do. As a result my finger is in a much better position to feel the pulse of the average black than you or the average white.

There is way less than 50% of the black population that feels hostile toward people of other races. But like I said in my initial posting, there are in deed enough blacks that think in an ignorant way where race is concern to make it appear that it is the norm among the entire black population.

But just like the news tend not to report on a lot of good in the world, the same holds true where blacks that welcome change and acceptance of interaction with people of other races are concern. Trust me if that was not the case I would have no problem standing on the tallest mountain and announcing it to the world.

I catch a lot of flack from members of my race as a result of me condemning some of their behavior, especially the so call new black panthers. So as I said trust me what I am telling you is as true as true can be...JOMO

    L,

Either I am not articulating myself well enough or you are misinterpreting/ reading into everything I write. Who said anything about "feels hostile toward people of other races"? Hell, they're hostile towards their own race. They are hostile because BIG government has chained them to a way of thinking that will never allow them to rise up. Many are there own worst enemy (that comes in all colors).

I could go on for hours on this subject and yes, I have seen it first hand with blacks and other races as well.

You already do, which is why that organization was birthed, all you see on TV are little white kids missing, if there ARE black kids missing, you never hear about them, It's all about little Amber, or little Billy, never hear about anyone else, unless a fuss is made

    C,

Always good to see ya chime in on the racist posts. Please show me where there is an organization that is specific to finding ONLY little white children. Please provide a link.

Once again you are blinded by your indoctrinated racism to keep ya up there on the plantation. How does it feel?

It's pretty sad that you even stooped to the level of using the name Amber. Due to a little girl named Amber who went missing a whole network was established to find missing and exploited children of ALL color but all you see is black and white. Pretty sad if you ask me.

This happens to be a subject I am very knowledgeable on and have worked internationally to curb this with children of EVERY color, race and creed. As a matter of fact, most of the children and women I was involved in helping were NOT white!!

Once again C, you bought the lie hook, line and sinker. First, there are 5 times more white people than black and a white child is 23 times more likely to be abducted than a black child. Do ya think that has any bearing on it?

BAM is a racist organization created to further separate the races and in doing so uses children to carry out their dirty little task. Wake up!!!
