No.. Mr. Obama Is The Greatest President Since Sliced Bread, Even Though I'm Now Homeless and Jobless

Even though I am homeless and jobless, I get a good WiFi connection to comment on here.

I think it's more an indication of a useless Gov. in Corsine and a weak Democratic candidate in Virginia.

The governorship in Va. does not mean much anyways. The governor in Va. is pretty powerless and limited to one term, hardly any time at all to get anything done.

    Nice biased answer choices.

No, my vote for Bob McDonnell was neither a referendum on Obama, nor a vote in praise of Republicans. Quite simply, I voted for the best candidate among the choices available and this time around the best choice happened to be Republican. Don't count on this trend continuing indefinitely, and don't make assumptions just because they suit your political views.

People vote for different candidates for a multitude of reasons, and off-year elections are never a predictor of larger, more wide-spread races.

So, while I'm glad that McDonnell won this race, I'm not willing to translate that into an unrivaled victory for Republicans next year.

The govenors won and even the mayor in New yourk won. I would think it a sign except that two seats went house seats went to the democrats. New Jersey and Virginia have always had republican governors when we get a democratic president.

These Wins in Virginia, New Jersey and New York could be the being of the end of this congress and administration in 2010. but only if we keep on coming at them from all sides, by supporting those in congress that are listing and for those who are not supporting conservatives that will run against them

The battle cry is still no Obamacare and 2010

Once healthcare reform is passed and people learn it's not the end of their world (and actually reduces their healthcare outlay) Democratic party fortunes will turn around. Also, the case can still be made that the economic downturn was inherited and caused by greed (a republican hallmark).

If I were homeless and jobless, I don't think I would blame President Obama, unless I was a fanatical right wing partisan political propagandist trying to rewrite history to hide the failing of my own party, like yourself MissQ.

What amazes me is how those on the left are playing down the victories. I suspect their outlook would be different and the opinion would change if the Democrat candidates had won.

Lies, Deceit and Corruption will not prevail. It's time we add another 545 people to the unemployment line.

    1 President
    9 Judges
    100 Senators
    435 Congressmen

None of the above, Virginia has a track record of going for a Governor of the opposite party that holds the Whitehouse. New Jersey is a cesspool of corruption in both parties...from what I understand the republican candidate in New Jersey ran a positive campaign, what is really telling is the rebuke of the republicans in New York's 23rd district, a seat that has been held by a republican since Ulysses S Grant shows that Sarah Palin, Dick Armey and the t-baggers are not appealing to most republicans! How either party fairs next year depends on jobs, jobs, jobs!
