Could a simple blood test help Mexicans prove that they are more American than us?

They are americans....they live in north AMERICA! as in the whole continent is full of americans
People of the united states are arrogant to think they are only ones

And yes it would prove they are but it won't matter to morons that keep saying they are the true americans the real ones pa

Neither are the way I feel. There is a reason they are illegal in the first place. When they come here and pay taxes, speak the language, become citizens, come into this country the right way and be polite then they will get my respect. My grampa was a immigrant and he come hear the right way, become a contributing citizen and pays his taxes.

Neither option matches the way I feel. -Our government has never treated the American Indians with the respect that they deserve so it would be sickening if the Mexicans were given special treatment and rights, but Indians sit penniless on reservations because we took everything from them, including their ability to have some ceremonies (animal rights & land use permits).

America includes the entire western hemisphere, so in that case yes. If you mean U.S. citizens however the simple existence of the U.S. would beg to differ. We need immigration reform not simple mindedness.

How do you think you get a Mexican? Spanish and Indian blood. But other than that, they are more American than us Americans. They appreciate the opportunity for freedom and go to great lengths to try and come across the border. We forget that as Americans - how spoiled we are.

Really it doesn't have anything to do with a person's blood. If a person was born in the U.S., then he/she is a nature born citizen of the U.S.!

Just because they once owned this land, does not give them the right to break in now. Go ahead and give the land back and they will turn it into the same type of place that Mexico is today. That country has the ability to be as great as ours(no I'm not saying we're perfect) but they don't use and squander what they have.

The Illegal immigration is a matter of security for all Americans, of all races whether they were born here or immigrated legally.

You're a rarity, most Americans have an (fanatical) Exceptionalism Complex.

Much of the trouble in Mexico is that their police have been corrupted by the drug cartels. The rest of Latin American isn't better. Perhaps it's a Spanish thing (the Inquisition? They made much of their business from graft).

Well, they do not live in North America, Mexico is Central America. They may well be more related to the Native American Indians. But having a Geno connection does not give them any more rights than any other Immigrant that has come here legally. Those of any Nationality that have come here by any other means including illegal birth. Are Illegal Aliens. Not Immigrants, Migrants, or any other grants. The parts of the Current United States were taken in war. And like Israel, those lands now belong to those who won them in battle. That is the way it has always been, and how it should remain. But to my knowledge America, has never been as greedy of wanting other Nations lands as many others have been. So I say, the Mexican is just as welcome here, as long as they come here legally, and them being here 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 years, does not make them anymore legal and if they just crossed the border yesterday. i also think that the Native American has many more rights than they have ever been given, after all, it was the White European who took the land from them. That is truly sad. We could have taken all of Mexico, But we did not. The Mexican Government and people have their own country, that they should work at running, and stop trying to take back the parts that we won in war. They act just like the Palestinians. In some way, so far though they have not Sent there Army across the border, just they criminals, jobless, underpaid, sick and lame.

Technically, Mexico IS part of North America. Canada, Greenland & the States make up the bulk of the rest (Cuba, Bahamas & the rest of the Caribbean Island too?). The countries between Mexico & Colombia are often referred as being in Meso·America.

"…But to my knowledge America, has never been as greedy of wanting other Nations lands as many others have been.…"

You've got be kidding, the States toppled a democratic government in Iran back in the 50's because they wanted to nationalize their petro industry, installed the Shah which led to the revolution in 79 & Khomeini & the Black Robes took over. You know the rest.

Same goes for Iraq. You also funded Osama bin Laden when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan because you were fearful that they could have taken Iran too.

Hypocrisy, You got your independence by ridding the Yoke of (European) Imperialism of your backs but now practice the same thing on other countries.

Not all American Indians lived within the boundaries of the United States so it would prove nothing as to citizenship.
