Real conservatives NEVER got behind Romney nor would they consider him 2nd, 3rd or whatever choice as long as there are still viable choices to consider.

I wanted Romney to run against Obama in 2008, I am a registered Independent, and never wanted Mcain.

I've been backing Romney since 2008. And I've wanted a Romney Ryan ticket for well over a year. I'm thrilled, I actually couldn't be happier.

Had Romney for Governor for four years, what a mess intrenched in scandals, $900M in new taxes and mega-debt.

I did not read one truth in that propaganda. Every endeavor is top heavy with scandaal and ethical issues. The list is too long to get into. I will say i have a unique access to the actual numbers, regards.

When he left office, 1st time ever, he had his staff remove all the administrations hard drives from all the computers and destroyed them, he then paid out of pocket to replace them, strange given the Olympics situation. I could go on there is more but this is a sample.

Not that it makes a goddam bit of difference.

I'm one of the millions of conservatives who live in one or another of the overwhelmingly "blue" states. The guy who's using Michelle for a beard could start sodomizing Cub Scouts on the White House lawn tomorrow morning and the son of a bitch would get every one of New Jersey's votes in the Electoral College regardless.

But did I wan't the Etch-A-Sketch to get the Republican nomination?

    Hell, no.

    What is a "great" president?

Most of our "great" presidents from Lincoln to Roosevelt to Wilson to Roosevelt to Truman to Eisenhower to Reagan to Clinton were murderers, thieves, and liars.

If that is your standard, then yes, Romney and Obama make "great" presidents.

Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.... and with everything that the local, state and national GOP people have pulled this election cycle to try to juice their 'preferred' candidates (including blatant election fraud at the precinct level), I'm probably not going to vote for ANYONE they push.
