(Pardon the image, its the only one I can find that didn't stereotype or suck.)
I've grown to kind of dislike Politics and probably even more these days because even the civilian voters have stoop so low to mudslinging and manipulation. These days.
I've seen the worst of the Liberals and they all seem to try to act like they are all innocent, loving and truthful. If they looks at themselves and look up Liberal in the dictionary. Would they see a contradiction or are they clouded by their own ego?
Liberals actually demonize more... Some may give you the "we've been fighting speech".
The truth is: Some Liberals are more Conservative than they think. Like if they grew up in a Liberal family, that would actually be a tradition and you're preserving it. That's Conservatism.(Whats your Conservatism?)
I grew up in a house with politically Conservative parents but they are not the typical portrait that the media paints of what they think Conservatives are. I'm not just saying that because they are my parents. Though part of the reason why I dislike the both sides is left and right, is the arguments I heard as a kid when I was around my relatives and the crap during elections.
Don't know why but all of the negative focus that that Liberals emphasize on Conservatives has made me see the negatives of the Liberals. I have Liberal friends and I love them like my brothers and sisters. I see a lot more Liberal news and propaganda than Conservative news. I do notice a lot of things Conservatives say are misunderstood, when there is conservative stuff people are complaining and trying to say "All Conservatives are this way" or "The GOP is trying to make people starve to death"(If people really knew the truth about Social Security and Disability. You won't be saying that).
Just a thought, I feel like a lot of people are understood. I also found, sometimes for things to have progress, you have to go back a few steps. I don't try not to clings to the political parties these days, I'm actually worried who'd might end up in the office this election, because no one seems to be worthy.

hasher 2012/04/10 23:48:47No+3i think were very clear on what we believe. small govt. spending under control . balanced budget, constitution and the declaration of independence, individual freedom. private sector creating jobs and the govt getting out of the way to let them do that. less govt. control. no more nanny state.

Looks like a left brain to me....

Here are the definitions from the dictionary on my computer:
Conservative- adjective
The conservative wing of the party: right-wing, reactionary, traditionalist; Republican; Brit. Tory; informal redneck. ANTONYMS socialist.
Liberal- adjective
The values of a liberal society: tolerant, unprejudiced, unbigoted, broad-minded, open-minded, enlightened; permissive, free, free and easy, easygoing, libertarian, indulgent, lenient. ANTONYMS narrow-minded, bigoted.
Based on the definition it would seem that liberals are more misunderstood.
There was a definition of Liberal that was tampered with. It stated a Liberal is "open minded".... But there is a lack of that.
Yeah people can be harsh on both sides of the political circle. I've heard Conservatives take things a bit far with certain things. Like the Barack "Osama" whatever it is some say, totally over doing. I have more respect for the President than that, I bet the people wouldn't have guts to say it to his face. He's still a person.
I've nearly argued with Conservatives before, they are not as quick to call people names. My answer for the reason why Conservatives have been stereotyped as stupid is because all the intelligent ones no better than to argue.
generally everyone IS MISUNDERSTOOD
People mostlly understand WHT they Like to. Not always wht you wnat to them to think........????
