Conservatives Claim A Fake Assassination Attempt Will Delay The 2012 Elections

Maybe, just maybe, the Right Wing is finally starting to get the message that two verified birth certificates, numerous other pieces of confirming material and 114 years of Supreme Court precedent are not going to be overcome by all the Orly Taitz or Joe Arpaio fantasies. That's the good news. The bad news is, unsurprisingly, that the Right Wing has a whole slew of new brainless conspiracy theories to take its place. Of course "Obama is going to take everyone's guns away" is still at the top of the hit parade, with the Right Wing now claiming that every gun related incident that happens anywhere in the United States is part of "Obama's plan". But here's another one that has been making the rounds of the low capacity conservatives - a phony assassination plot to delay the elections. This would be just as ripe for laughter and derision as the rest, except that given the shocking rise in Right Wing violence in this country one can only wonder whether they are simply circulating a "fake assassination plot" conspiracy theory to cover for a REAL assassination plot. The Right Wing knows they cannot win a fair election, and even their voter suppression laws are facing a hard go of it in the courts, so there has to be a backup plan. They can't count on Katherine Harris stealing the state of Florida this time, so what will they do? Let's all hope that they do what they usually do - go home, pout, and then spend the next four years the same way they did the last four - undermining the government of the United States and slandering and denigrating their President.

Conservatives Claim A Fake Assassination Attempt Will Delay The 2012 Elections

A conservative blogger by the name of Joe Angione widely emailed a rumor stating that Obama is planning to delay the 2012 elections process by staging a fake assassination attempt. Yep, you read that right. We knew the right-wing wasn't above blatantly distorting facts, but now it seems they're just fine with outright lies, as well. Admittedly, the beginning of the email started off with saying that the rumor has not been confirmed, but goes on to assure readers that the rumor has also not been disproved. With that kind of logic, it's no surprise that studies show that conservatives are lazy thinkers.
The rumor mill started with an article on CanadaFreePress.com, which is a good read if you're in for an incredulous laugh. The link is here. In short, the author (Doug Hammon) asserts that an informant within the Department of Homeland Security has given him a great deal of information about a huge conspiracy with President Barack Obama at the heart. Generally crazed conservative bloggers and delusional conspiracy theorists can be ignored. Not in this case.
This gets much scarier with another bit of information. Kelly Keisling, a Republican representative from Tennessee, forwarded the email from Joe Angione–from his state email account, no less. He used his official email to spread unproved rumors based on an unnamed source most likely made up by a conspiracy theorist and re-posted by a conservative blogger. This is the process used by conservatives to get their information? Abominable. For an example, here's an excerpt from the original article:
Does Obama look worried about the upcoming elections? Look at his lavish vacations, his limited work schedule, and those with whom he is working. This is a very dangerous man who has, as his closest advisors, people who have orchestrated the revolutions of the 1960s. They know the "trigger points" in America.
The Obama administration, including his czars and along with his closets Progressive supporters, are planning a manufactured insurgency against America. He is using the media to his advantage to garner both sympathy and support for his unfinished goals. He is desperately seeking a way to remain in office, even if it means the surreal prospect of an indefinite postponement of elections – if it can be pulled off. So far, he's got the support of the majority of the DHS "brass" behind him, according to my source.
"They're power hungry, and they want to remain in charge," stated this source.
The "surreal" aspect of suspended elections won't look so surreal when you see any or all of the "trigger points" take place in the not-so-distant future.
"The end-game plan for America is its destruction as a Constitutional Republic, with the assistance of the agencies under the umbrella of the DHS."
To most of us, such an accusation is something to be laughed at or ignored without definitive evidence. For Representative Kelly Keisling, this is serious news.
This morning, he did apologize through a GOP spokesman for the email he circulated, stating that, "Earlier this week, I forwarded an email from my legislative office that should not have been sent out. The message was inappropriate for distribution. I regret the error and pledge to be more cautious regarding the information distributed from my office in the future."

I have been listening to Fox and there is desperation in their voices. They know they have a lousy candidate who may have scammed the government by not paying his taxes, has flip-flopped on almost every issue, and just recently showed that he doesnt have a clue about diplomacy or foreign policy.

Any "true conservatives/republicans" that are left who're still Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, and Eisenhower republicans this is what's hijacked your party and kicked you to the curb. Democrats do welcome you and offer you a home.
This person needs to be tried for treason.
A 'failed' assassination attempt would provide no reason to stop the elections.
A president can't just snap his fingers and say, "I'm cancelling the elections."
The Democrats don't need the elections delayed.
Romney is helping the Repugnantcans look like goofy elitist losers every day.
Even if the Pres was successfully whacked Biden or Hillary would jump into replace him. The sympathy would probably guarantee a win for the democrats.
ya THINK??.
Congress has the authority to set elections.
AND this Novermber, obama will be VOTED OUT.
You libs KNOW THIS.
Stop telling LIES TO AMERICA, the DELUSIONS belong on the left.
Don't tie one hundred eighty MILLION Conservatives to ONE BLOGGER, or else,
We tie the LIBTARD LEFTIES to the LIBTARDS on sodahead.
You can see for yourself,
Just go to a CHICK-FILL-A, Aye?
I stop going to Chick-Full-A-Hate.
NOT LEAVE HANGING CHADS.
Or dumb enough to BELIEVE THAT LIE,
Bwaa haa haa.

Gore?
Read the CONSTITUTION.
1993-1994 was written by Clinton and his dem Congress. It was SO BAD that the RECORD SWITCH in American History then happened. For the FIRST TIME EVER, a Sitting House leader was VOTED OUT and the Republican gained the House for the first time since 1954 and they also got back the Senate.
The House DID switch back in the last election BUT the Senate has yet to even allow voting on BILLS PASSED by Congress.
You just got SMACKED DOWN.
The Budget of the United States Government is the PRESIDENT'S PROPOSAL to the U.S. Congress which recommends funding levels for the next fiscal year, beginning October 1. Congressional decisions are governed by rules and legislation regarding the federal budget process. Budget committees set spending limits for the House and Senate committees and for Appropriations subcommittees, which then approve individual appropriations bills to allocate funding to various federal programs.

You just got sent back to "Smack Down School!" Ah yeah... that happened.
Republicans wrote the last 6 budgets for Clinton.
FURTHERMORE, Read MY lips, libtards raised the taxes under Bush 23 years ago.
BUSH PROPOSED NO NEW TAXES but Congress FORCED him into it.
Bush VETOED 5 budgets and even allowed the Fed to shut down and then he accepted the 5 cent per gallon gas tax AFTER the libs in Congress wrote the 6th budget.
SMACK DOWN?
Get real.
