Conservative Boy Wonder No Longer Conservative

(▪‿▪)DoctorWhoGuru(▪‿▪) 2012/07/03 02:01:47

Jonathan Krohn took the political world by storm at 2009’s Conservative Political Action Conference when, at just 13 years old, he delivered an impromptu rallying cry for conservatism that became a viral hit and had some pegging him as a future star of the Republican Party.

Shows that people can grow up and see the light. He had the last word on Lawrence O'Donnell's show this evening, and the now 17 yo. GA boy is entering NY University as a freshman in the Fall. He doesn't want to be any ideology, and plans to study philosophy and film making while occasionally writing political satire. "I was naive at 14", he says, and that then he was inundated by all the conservative talk in GA.

    New views.
Gay marriage? In favor. Obamacare? “It’s a good idea.” Who would he vote for (if he could) in November? “Probably Barack Obama.” His favorite TV shows? “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.” His favorite magazine? The New Yorker.

Guess Romney, Gingrich, and Cain won't be showing their photo op pictures with the youthful Jonathan anymore, and the Fox News adoration calling him a rising conservative star.won't ever be mentioned again.

Its good to see someone grow up and be his own person. He said doesn't like being called a liberal, even thou socially he leans left. Now fox has gotten very ugly toward him. One of the commentators said if he was his he would have left in the woods. So totally immature.

It's great to see someone grow up and form their own opinions and not being used as a political pawn.

You know this is what can really put stuff into perspect a child who is not mature and has not even developed his own way of thinking and opinions repeats and says what ever he hears. But here is a hint when a kis 12-14 has the same message as you and says the exact same things you do....maby its time to rethink what comes out of your mouth. This is just like the 14 year old conservative radio host who said Obama is making kids gay by embracing gay marriage....it may not be the best message to send that the same message your party preaches also comes out of boys with little to no developed maturity level yet.

When I was a young wild-eyed radical in my teens, I was (metaphorically) patted on the head and told I'd become more conservative as I grew older. Now I am 60 and even more radical than I was at 16, although not quite as wild-eyed.

You just never can tell. Remember Alex Keaton?
