    HE DIDN'T DO IT DELIBERATELY!
It isn't a murder charge. Yes Jackson was probably addicted to the drugs and "would get them from someone else" if not from Murray.
This doesn't negate the fact that Murray was a doctor, professionally responsible for Jackson, and should not have given him drugs that are for surgery to help him sleep... and even if he did he should have monitored him better (you need an anesthetist there the entire time -whereas Murray took toilet breaks)

I wish it wasn't true, I don't think Murray is a bad guy, but yes he is guilty of involuntary manslaughter and negligence

Murray is a doctor who knew better...you don't hook someone up to drugs that has a problem!

Maybe he's not responsible for Michael's passion, but he couldn't authorized prescriptions for the drug. So for this reason the doctor is the culprit. The type drug used to help Michael sleep is not intended for this purpose; sleeping pills are.

If you were a doctor would you put your professional license in jeapardy by giving a patient who is already addicted to presciption drugs by bringing a surgical drugs, not for home use, to that patient's home?

Michael Jackson was hooked on drugs and he was responsible for the choices that he made. He would have gotten the drugs from somebody else if this cat wouldn't have provided them,,,,,,and the key thing here is did he give him the fatal dose. The family wants somebody to blame for Michael's death, now they have it, but that is not going to ease the guilt or make the truth go away for them. Michael was crying out for help for years and they did nothing,he was a drug addict and a wacko and they did nothing..The conviction of this doc isn't going to wipe any of that away.

Good thing Michael didn't go to prison. It could have been ugly. Especially in those PJ's.

And the doctor assisted Michael in his choices, illegally. The doctor should have told him to find some other doctor to prescribe the medication. Because he didn't he walked out of the courtroom in handcuffs on his way to a county prison without bail. What a way to spend Thanksgiving.

So you're saying if a patient has a problem, a doctor should take advantage of that
person? A doctor is suppose to help sick people, not make prey out of them!

Michael Jackson was a man who was used to getting what he wanted. He couldn't sleep so he wanted a drug that only hospitals used because it was strong and so dangerous if used in any other place other than a hospital. Anyone administering this drug needed to observe the patient constantly for signs of respiratory distress. I know Dr. Murray knew this and so did Jackson. Jackson knew the risks, but he still begged for the drug! What kind of person in their right mind wants to take a drug that is so dangerous it has to be monitored constantly? A mentally disturbed person like Jackson, that is who! He may have been a great singer but he had mental problems. Sure this doctor took the job. For money, but I don't think he had any intent of letting Jackson die, it was an accident. This man is a scapegoat for the rich Jackson family and I think if Michael could speak, he would say , do not prosecute Dr. Murray, it was all my fault! That Janet Jackson, what a fool for saying her brother was in the court room! These people are the most hideous examples of people adoring them and making them millionaires over and over. it is sick!
