She is receiving tons of hate mail while the police are investigating that.
But even her harshest critics say that none of those actions are worthy of the sickening and racist hate mail Hawkins has received since November.
“Let’s hope that AIDS will do what sickle cell anemia failed to do, exterminate your whole simian race,” reads one of three horrifying letters sent to Hawkins at the A-rated school.
The Board of Directors needs to remove this lady and send her packing back to where she came from!

A controversial Coney Island principal has pulled the plug on patriotism.
Her
refusal to let students sing “God Bless the USA” at their graduation
has sparked fireworks at a school filled with proud immigrants.

kindergartners to belt out the beloved Lee Greenwood ballad, also known
as “Proud to be an American,” at their moving-up ceremony.

Five classes spent months learning the patriotic song, which
skyrocketed in popularity after the 9/11 attacks and the 2003 invasion
of Iraq.

It was to be the rousing finale of their musical show at the June
20 commencement. The kids, dressed up for their big day, would wave
tiny American flags — which, as the lyrics proclaim, “still stand for
freedom.”
But Hawkins marched in on a recent rehearsal and ordered a CD playing the anthem to be shut off, staffers said.
She told the teachers to drop the song from the program.
“We don’t want to offend other cultures,” they quoted her as explaining.
The curt edict stunned both staff and parents.

Jehovah Witnesses believe in God, so that his not an issue, if it is and issue because of her religion, her religion needs to be kept out of her school.
Since she doesn't like the National Anthem being played, she has a problem with the USA and not Springsteen's masterpiece. Fire her worthless arse.
Any civilization that fails to teach its culture will not continue to exist. We have failed to convey our culture and it is obvious when thinking of our problems.
They're in the USA... and being raised in a US culture. And most cultures believe in God (though they call him "God" in their own native language.)... I don't see a problem there.

I'll also point-out, for no alleged reason, the Principal is from NYC, which also continues frequently to demonstrate a degradation of logic and "common" sense, like, say, a mayor wanting to ban "large-sugary-sodas" from being sold, though the ban only applies to fountain-based in convenience stores or at public event gatherings.
BTW: I'm domiciled in an area of Colorado Springs where my ethnicity isn't the majority group and Blacks/Hispanics share equal percentage of "majority".
I attended, yesterday, the "Juneteenth" 'celebration' held by the local NAACP office, about a block away from me. While attempting to show them things they were not aware of, my efforts were completely miscomprehended. I'm finding many folk just ain't ready for real/clear/decisive truth and facts.

Her decision should be reversed and she should be removed from the school. Preferably terminated.
