Ms. Rice is suddenly on the forefront of the media lately! It's good to see her, and especially nice to know she can still hold her own in a fight! For some reason, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice decided to invigorate MSNBC’s The Last Word by agreeing to debate host/actor Lawrence O’Donnell (Big Love, Monk, Mrs. Harris, The Practice, The Lyons Den, The West Wing). How do you think that went?

O’Donnell began by asking Rice if President Obama’s visit to Ground Zero earlier today was appropriate, which she did, and she explained former President Bush’s absence, attributing it to a desire to stay out of the spotlight, and not to detract from President Obama’s moment.

She only lied to Congress about her knowledge of weapons of mass destruction leading to the deaths and wounding of thousands of Americans and how many untold Iraqis . I guess that qualifies her to be VP under any Republican administration.

He was definately more interested in making HIS commentary than hearing her answers to his questions. His mind was made up prior to the interview and it showed.
She was right on the chronological order of events. I never agreed with going into Iraq but I can understand why we did it.
I do not see the point this Lawrence guy is trying to make because anyone can Monday morning quarterback. Coulda Shoulda Woulda....
but Rice is right about the way things went down.
I think Saddam WANTED the world to believe he had the weapons. It was a bluff that blew up in his face. He had had the weapons in the past.
I think Rice got the better of this guy.

What a class act Condoleezza Rice is. What a powerful and commanding person. She made a fool of O'Donnell with no effort. She was in control from the moment she sat down and intellectually made him look very small.

I have sooo much respect and admiration for Ms Rice, she is nothing but a plus in every way to conservative women.......She is such a role model for all women ,I will never understand why many black women shun her......She is a perfect example of an iron fist in a velvet glove.....kudos to CONNIE

Yep. She really shined after 9/11, as did President Bush. I recommend the book, "Bush at War" by Bob Woodward.
